Baba Ganoush Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Use the Nederland strategy and onside. Limit the risk that special teams can cause! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 This game appears to support the old adage that teams take on the personality of their coaches. The Texas players (particularly the defense) looks tough as nails and the OU players look whiny as hell... Roper84 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 By the way, it is my opinion that if you combined the Aggies offense with the Texas defense, you would have a prohibitive favorite to win the NC. Combine the remaining two units on another team and you would have a prohibitive favorite to win a few games in the Southland Conference. Roper84 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 TD Sheppherd. They had a pretty good story on him before the game. 24-13 OU Quote

TxHoops Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 @HookEmFans: Let's remove Not Doing $*** in the 3rd Quarter from our core values. #hookem That tweet is greatness. (And sadly it appears the core values haven't changed.) Quote
Brubaker Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Why is Texas making wholesale changes and bringing in a receiver who hasn't played all day late, who then lines up off the line of scrimmage negating a TD. This can't happen, what are they doing? Quote
PhatMack19 Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 Looking like VY on that drive 31-26 OU Quote
Brubaker Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 This is pathetic at this level, this is Junior High level coaching blunders. Quote
Brubaker Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 How is the backside lb supposed to cover the back out of the backfield on the other side... what is that? Quote
PhatMack19 Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 Texas will have the ball and a chance Quote
PhatMack19 Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 This is pathetic at this level, this is Junior High level coaching blunders. Lots of coaching mistakes in this one. Those wasted timeouts were killer. Quote
Brubaker Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 He didn't give his team a chance to win, that's not going to cut it, totally unprepared Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 @TexasHumor: .@ChuckFnStrong when is the next time we can expect yall to win? Quote
TxHoops Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 It's bad when you thoroughly out play a team and lose. That usually means you got outcoached. I'm not sure Big Baby Bobby outcoached Charlie, but Charlie sure didn't help his cause. And a lot of those penalties/timeouts were due to the players waiting on a play. Charlie may need to get Watson alone with a blow torch and pair of pliers and get this crap straightened out on the quick. Feel sorry for those boys today. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
whatnamecanipick Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 Charlie's disipline isn't looking so good right now. A bunch of dumb penalties so far. Mack the Knife again [sharedmedia=core:attachments:179] Quote
