JohnnyUppercuts Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 I have a feeling this season will turn out not good for HJ. You think y'all actually might go to and win state? What a joke. Maybe you do beat WOS. That just proves they aren't good enough to leave the region...again. They won't anyway because they let Newton beat them. That's not championship caliber. HJ hasn't proven a whole lot yet either. You beat Tatum...who I think is solid. Not great, but solid. And I missed that one... But...No matter how you spin it it was a 1 possession game. And they are getting embarrassed in their district. None of this matters because it won't help anything. Congrats on your good start...hope you beat WOS just because. Who knows...maybe HJ goes from bball school to football school. Yea the best start in school history and being undefeated through a pretty tough schedule isn't something serious.. These boys have already opened so many people's eyes (except your's i guess) you must be blind deaf and dumb if you think HJ hasnt proved anything so far. Dont try predict HJ's future because week in and week out these boys have shown they are for real and stepped up and out-played the team on the opposite side of the ball. At this point HJ has shown the only team that can beat them is themselves. Keep doubting em bud.... lol Quote
Lazeek Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 strictly for facts sake HJ's best start in school history is 8-0 in 2000 they also started 7-0 in 1991 Quote

Orangefield was better than Tatum, HJ scored on a punt return and an interception. 14 points off of turnovers, which good team do. I am happy that HJ is doing good in football I promise but I think the kids and coaches have a say in this, not some of the fan's who have no clue. You should always support your team but always be humble in victory because karma is a you know what. Quote
Riding Solo Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Sorry the punt return was not a turnover. I will tell you what Johnny and Bedelmom I will bet you guys 100 dollars each that WOS wins against you guys. Send me your address and if HJ beats them I will honor my bet. I promise!!!! See, I dont want excuses I want results. I would love to see HJ beat WOS and I lose my money but it is hard when you guys trash talk. Quote
bedelmon Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Oldschool2...... A joke? Your right, we should shut this down and tell our kids it isn't feasible... You obviously know nothing about the word football, team or heart for that matter.... One possession? For reals player? I thought you were not there? Oh let me guess.... Did Depety Dawg 20 tell you that while yall were in band class? Gimme a break clown...... Quote

Did Depety Dawg 20 tell you that while yall were in band class? Gimme a break clown...... And heart.. Band class?.. I played with and against professional athletes in both high school and college. At the highest level. I know plenty about heart. My championship rings prove that. Now for the post. Maybe your math is rusty. Follow along with your calculator. 21-14....is a 1 possession game. That a 1 touchdown plus PAT difference. And...35-28...is also a 1 possession game. You think beating OF by 7 makes you good enough to get to state. Ok...go get em then. Riding Solo 1 Quote

kicker Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 i think if newton was to play a second game with tatum it would be a closer game, carry on my friends. If it's the same Newton that played Wos, they beat Tatum hands down. I have a feeling Newton just turned back into Newton. Quote

TxHoops Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Give the fact that Tatum is historically much better than WOS it is more likely that Tatum turned into Tatum. Smh. Each have 2 state championships. Tatum runner up once, WOS twice. Huffman education must be stellar... Quote

TxHoops Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 10-4, and Tatum's have been t0 years. WOS, not so much. So "historically" means within the last 10 years??* *please refer to prior comment regarding Huffman education Quote

I think that would qualify as a "Pretty tough schedule", as he stated. Lots of legit playoff teams in their schedule so far. JohnnyUppercuts 1 Quote
bedelmon Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 No, beating OF does not make us good enough to win state.... Our boys, our gameplan, our heart, and the planets lining up correctly makes us good enough to win state.... The year my team won the 5A Co-Championship, we were 6-4... Just happened to be in the toughest district in the state.... French, TJ, Vidor (I think), Nederland, BCP, PNG and West Brook.... West Brook beat us that year, then in the playoffs Galveston Ball beat Westbrook and the next week we beat Galveston Ball with Kimball Anders (KC Chiefs) and Eric Hill (Arizona Cardinals) on their team.... So take your stupid comments, and your useless calculator, and all those years of professional football and go get you some business.... We're busy tryin to win a championship over here in Sour Lake.... Aint nobody got time fa dat!!!! MoFo and JohnnyUppercuts 2 Quote
rykerx144 Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I agree, I just thought I was a WOS hater, you guys make it hard to support HJ. You guys better be careful you will soon be like Kirbyville and the team that everyone want to beat just because of the fans! Quote

Here's where I'm not so sure. The score was 39-7. They might could make it a closer game, but that's a 32 point difference. More than four touchdowns. I've seen Tatum play, and I truly do not think that the outcome is any different. Closer game, maybe, but Tatum still wins. Quote

HJ2012 Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Hate stems from fear... I promise you Barry isn't scared! And if you're talking about football, K-Ville doesn't stack up against HJ this year, but that's neither here nor there. It doesn't matter and we'll never see them play. Quote
