biaplayer
I wouldn't say PNG fans are nervous more like anxious.
biaplayer
By playing this game, it is the meat of our schedule, the creme puffs have been squashed. This will be indicator as to where the team is at and how the pressure on their shoulders is handled, and of course the bragging rights for the next year. lapoint
NED might be penalized for 12 men on the field Friday night. NED has been doing this all year, heck for many years with no flags flying??? PNG may need to know about this before MCM. Think it would be fair to say something now. Larry Neumann is there with his team every play, not really fair for the opponent. There is one thing to understand: These NED players have never known NED without Neumann. Most of these players have grown up in NED and have only wanted to play for football for this man and his program (our recruits have bought in as well, even though we don’t have the Oregon PNG facilities and uniforms). This is not just a team but a family with a wise daddy. On paper, PNG is better, but in a backyard brawl like MCM, this one goes to the Dogs. Faircloth might want to call Toby Keith Foreman and ask him about Neumann singing, ‘How do you like me now?’ after the game last Friday night in the middle of the field after the game. Might not be as high scoring as I predicted, but NED by less than a TD late.
Old61Eagle
The Indians must be getting a little nervous. I go to work and what do I see this morning the Indians having a morning practice until 8:25 A.M. So good 2 hours. Guess the school let the boys miss 1st period. No one thought the DOGS were going to be contenders. I guess they underestimated the HEART of the fight in these DOGS. So here we go a crazy week ending in possible District Title in play. Still say DOGS win in a close one 24-21. The student don't have school today so they are not missing any periods.

Brubaker
Wow, that Vype postgame video of Sage Seay and Neumann addressing their team in the post game huddle. Gonna be a war Friday!
Old61Eagle
PNG has school today. Thanks for the correction. I guess I just assume that PNG didn't have school today because I knew NISD didn't (I have family members that teach over there). lu cards
png wins 38 to 24.game boils down to ned secondary vs png passing game and png run defense vs ned rushing attack.png is a little more balanced thus giving them the edge. QueenPirate
I have said from the beginning PNG is the team to beat this year. It will be a close one, but I do think PNG will pull it out in the end. Good luck to both teams!!
NDOMAKONG
png wins 38 to 24.game boils down to ned secondary vs png passing game and png run defense vs ned rushing attack.png is a little more balanced thus giving them the edge. I Dont disagree with you assessment of strengths and weaknesses. The game will come down to how well PNGs line plays as I think Ned will try to stop the run with just 6 in the box and drop into coverage, plus BRI g pressure from different spots on the field. If PNG can block and run the ball, they will have a definite advantage. I still think it comes down to turnovers and kicking game. I Dont think either team has shown wht I would consider a strong kicking game, Nederland's has been improving somewhat.
outanup
Ned's oline is arguably there strength... They will run at PNG just like they did at Central and eat the clock to limit pngs possessions... This is the matchup Ned needs to win to come out on top. We get a few stops and I like our chances! Bourne2011
PN-G wins 42-21. Our offense is probably better than Centrals, and our defense has a lot more discipline. This game will be nothing like central and nederland. NDNation

I think Neumann is a great coach....Just imagine what he could do if he didnt have to play on a junk field with a depleted fieldhouse, some old dingy, boring uniforms, ugly helmets, and a crowd that barked like a bunch of dogs, bulldogs a that. Heck he might even be mad that his school didnt have any pride or tradition until he started coaching there 20 years ago... Times change, people change, names change, but some things dont...... Ruff, Ruff, Ruff............ So the conclusion is this. If you win, you still lose.................

godawggo
It also goes to show you, where the kids get their we are better than you attitude at PNG! Jduncan1
This year Png could play in loin clothes and burlap sacks on crab grass and concrete and have a great chance of winning this game. We of would have to borrow the uniforms from Nederland and well the crab grass and concrete is already there
