KFDM COOP Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 The start of the baseball season for McNeese State, the defending Southland Conference champion, is three weeks away but head coach Chad Clement has decided on his first game starting pitcher. "Derek Blacksher will be out first game starter," Clement said. A year ago the senior right hander from Bridge City was a second team all-Southland Conference and all-Louisiana performer, posting a 7-3 won-lost record with a 3.01 ERA.
