Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Time to go faircloth, 1-5 vs ned See u Feliciaclassy. Smh Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Slow start and lack of defensive line play got us tonight Nederland running game was unstopoable, PNG only slowed em down when Nederland had a few penalties Quote
NDN06 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Oh. And about the student section... In all honesty I didn't look at ours, but I came *this close* to taking a pic of the mess on the Nederland side. (Mostly just because someone was griping a few days ago about cleaning up baby powder). There was stuff EVERYWHERE in the stands and on the track! It's all in good fun. I'm sure the kids all had a blast. And it's got to be better than the rumored syrup on the bleaches that Ned students were supposedly going to do (I hope that didn't really happen) FrodoNDN 1 Quote
Honest Abe Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Dude, PNG ran all over Nederland in the 2nd half, you really Dont know what you are talking g about do youHe also thinks no local team has won a state title in decades. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 That's a PNG fan bonehead Lol my bad.... Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 21-5A is talking a lot of trash about a sweep but I think 22-5A is getting better and better each week Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Proud Dawg Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 This game was well worth the ticket price. I believe that png was out coached. They have been since fairclothe came to png. I thought that png defense would be better also by all the posters saying so. I thought that it could have gone either way and I am glad it went ours. In a one score game, fairclothe is Neumann. No doubt about that. Morse is a stud. He has a cannon and makes good decisions. The receiver sparks is very talented also. Got some wheels for a lil dude. I was surprised by that. It is a completely different mood than it was before district started. We got business to take care of, to try for four years undefeated district champs. Wow. That sounds real good rolling off my tounge. Good luck png the rest of the way Quote
adminbaberuth Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 PNG will have their hands full with Central. They will be underdogs imo. NDOMAKONG 1 Quote
baddog Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Only thing about the talcum powder.....it coats the insides of your lungs. Put talc on your arm and run water over it. It beads up and runs off. Also, some people may be allergic if the wind is blowing the wrong way. Might could come up with something better. Back on topic.....Way to go Dogs. Your heart is that of a champion! Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I have to admit I'm glad this game is over win or lose it just puts so much pressure on both teams...time to get back in the district race Quote

Brubaker Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Nederland and Neumann don't seem to have a problem with the pressure of this game. I think he just runs a tougher program and produces kids that are tough enough to win games like last week against PNG. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Neumann best coach in this area ever in my generation, surpassed Hooks tonight in my eyes & thoughts. Brubaker, CAL2TEX, JPD1966 and 1 other 4 Quote

tvc184 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I think that Nederland was the underdog and they came together as a team to do what they needed to do. Let's not forget that PNG almost scored at the end to tie the game and go into overtime with momentum. Great game that literally came down to the last play. Quote
NDNation Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Great Game! Congrats Big Ned! The best team won! Good Sportsmanship by both teams at the end. Both team were patting the other on the back and saw a few hugs. I was waiting for some awesome trick plays out of us...still waiting! Good luck the rest of the way Bulldogs! NDN06 1 Quote

baddog Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Two questions....why did PNG go for it on 4th down on their first possession? What happened when the whole PNG line false started, the ref calls unsportsmanlike on Ned, marks off a 5 yard penalty, then makes it 15, then makes it 5 again? Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I think the refs were baffled by the atmosphere of the game also JPD1966 1 Quote

Should have been -5 yards on the false start, then +15 on the personal foul so a net of 10 yards. Maybe I'm wrong on that, since Faircloth didn't argue too much. Quote
