Alpha Wolf Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 With 3 games to go, teams are jockeying for playoff spots. With the win over the Indians last night, the Bulldogs control their own quest for another District Championship by simply winning out. The Indians and Jaguars could/should be fighting for Runner-up and 3rd place spot in 2 weeks. Despite the loss last night, the Panthers have the inside track for the 4th playoff spot because they beat Vidor head to head. The Panthers have the Indians next, could loose that game, and still take the final spot by simply beating Lee and GCM the last 2 weeks. Now the Pirates on the other hand either need to pull some upsets over the Jaguars and Indians along with beating the Raiders or get Ozen to loose 2 games that they shouldn't... That being said, make your predictions... Quote
jake94 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I think the Pirates will score some points, but Jacquet and Whaley will run through that D like a hot knife thru butter. Jags win 49-27 Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Well, depending on how the healing process goes, Jacquet probably still not be 100%. His legs gives us, an already good team an added dimension. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 If my pirates, and that's a big if, can put together 4 quarters of football then I see it being a shootout. If we do what we did last night it's not gonna be close. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Toss up IMO mytwocents-28 1 Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Toss up IMO Wow buddy you think vidor has a chance? Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Buddy is using his noodle. He knows Jacquet won't be 100%. Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Buddy is using his noodle. He knows Jacquet won't be 100%. What about Whaley? Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Whaley is 100%. He looked good last night. Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I would think even if Jacquet isn't 100% Whaley could take the game in his hands Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 But that's one less thing that Vidor will have to worry about, then they can focus more on trying to slow Whaley down. Quote
Indianforever Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 But that's one less thing that Vidor will have to worry about, then they can focus more on trying to slow Whaley down. Yeah that's true Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Wow buddy you think vidor has a chance? Buddy is using his noodle. He knows Jacquet won't be 100%.. Yep Quote
Alpha Wolf Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Jaquet will be 100% next week... Quote
jake94 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 This game won't be all that close in my opinion. Vidor D will have a tough time stopping the Central O. Quote
Boneyard Boys Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Jacquet is still playing... Damn it seems like he had been around forever. Wasn't he with Ozen and now with Central for the past four years? No but in all seriousness, I think it will come down to a 2 point conversion in the end... Like it always does, or at least that's what recent history suggests. Quote
Alpha Wolf Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Vidor 34 Central 28 If the Pirates gave up 48 to GCM and 36 to Ozen, I promise you that Central will score more than 28... andrew24b and ace2335 2 Quote
vidor96pirates Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 That's why they play the game. Anything can happen on Friday. These two teams always have good games. Especially the last one at Babe Zaharius when the ref missed the call on the two point at the end. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Jaquet will be 100% next week...welp my pick is Central in a blowout. Quote
baddog Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 #12 for Central is like tackling a greased pig. Very good RB who will probably play at the next level. Haven't seen Vidor. Missed our game with them. I say Vidor won't be able to handle Central's speed. Sorry Vidor. Just my opinion. Quote
SFA85 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 34 to Ozen. 48 to GCM. Central breaks 60........ Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Vidor 34 Central 28Speed will kill, just like it did when Ozen beat y'all.. Quote
