I don't see either team getting 50 or 60 in this game. Both teams play better defense than to allow that.

Was exaggerating a bit but I expect a high scoring affair...not discrediting the D's but 2 explosive O's who can score quick can lead to lots of points...I expect a very good game none the less

They have a good defense at the critical times when they need it and it's a do or die situation. 1st half of our game was nerves on our part. 2nd half, no problem moving it down field. Looked like the O we've been used to. That one stop was all they needed and they got it done. They step up.

Nederlands defense is good enough to win. That's all that matters. Nerves had nothing to do with first half of game.

It's funny that a Nederland fan started this thread. I hope our boys don't get caught looking ahead. What the Indians and Jaguars have to remember, Vidor is on the outside looking in for that final playoff spot so they need to pull an upset either by knocking off the Jaguars this week or by beating the Indians the last week. The Panthers are on the inside looking out. The don't want to slip up and give up any ground. An upset of PNG would solidify their playoff spot. So I hope both clubs stay focused on the task at hand this week.

Nerves and not running the ball. Quiet a few underthrown/overthrown balls. If you watch the game again, some of those were not because of pressure. I think our O line did pretty good.

Agree, Nederland has a good but not great D.  But NDNation, Nederland had another stop before the last drive, the one that gave us the ball after stopping you on 4th down and allowed us to run clock down to 50 secs and punt it.  But yes, overall PNG moved the ball very well in the 2nd half.

On that 4 th down play he should have run for it, would have gotten first down. Didnt like him trying to force it. I'm not sure why he was so off in first half, that wasn't the type of play I have seen hI'm do. I think he is one of the best deep ball throwers on the district. He woke up on second half. You have to bring it all four quarters. Even though it was a loss I still think it was one hell of a game.
