olddadt49 Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Does anyone have any idea of the attendance Friday night? olddadt49 1 Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 One of largest I can ever remember, packed in the stands and hundreds on the track Quote
prepballfan Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 They said 16500 on the radio Im sure it was 16000 bulldog fans and 500 Indians fans Quote
prepballfan Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 The radio really do say 16500 to 17000 at the game..... Maybe the year we reach 100 we can play at a bigger neutral stadium for that 2 year cycle so we can let everybody attend that wants to see it... Quote
Bigdog Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 They said 16500 on the radio Im sure it was 16000 bulldog fans and 500 Indians fans And I'm sure the PNG fans would say its the other way around since "nobody" has fans like PNG! By the way, I noticed in the pics of the trophy presentation that the PNG side was empty. No I am sure as an Indian fan that we only had 15500 of the fans there many many were disguised in Black and Gold it was the only way that they could get into the stadium....lol Olddog 1 Quote

The presentation photos were photoshopped to take out the Indian fans Im sure. whatnamecanipick 1 Quote
Brubaker Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 PNG side was packed at kickoff, unlike when we come over there and folks are trying to get in the stands through the single access. whatnamecanipick 1 Quote
prepballfan Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 PNG side was packed at kickoff, unlike when we come over there and folks are trying to get in the stands through the single access. And now you have figured out our trick to keep the stands empty on the visitor's side.....dang it Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Nah, we get there, just gotta bark while we file in Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 And I agree, its tough getting in and outta the Reservation NDNation 1 Quote
biaplayer Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Yep just like you closed the visitors concession stand right after halftime. While both of them on the home side stayed open, smh. Quote
Brubaker Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Evidently ya'll cleaned em out, maybe too thirsty from choking on powder? Michele 1 Quote
biaplayer Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Was a great article though Brubaker 1 Quote
biaplayer Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Yup I noticed your youth group tried to imitate ours, nothing but a mess.didn't like our kids throwing all the empty containers onto the track. Totally tasteless display of manners. Quote
Brubaker Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Hey, kids will be kids, they were having fun, powder cleans up pretty easy, everybody had fun and nobody got hurt. Better night than what they could be doing. bigned85 1 Quote

Totally tasteless display of manners. Maybe your football team should imitate ours, might get a win....... Always taking shots, you are consistent. Gotta give you that. Quote
KABrother Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Personally didn't like the shot taken at the BE...I mean if they would have been behind it would the PA News plug it?...No...in the end the they are competitors and it shouldn't be advertised in a competitors paper...but I hope that documentery happens Quote
badndn Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 By the way, I noticed in the pics of the trophy presentation that the PNG side was empty. I was impressed with how many folks stayed and cheered. If I had to guess more than half the crowd stuck around. And most those that didn't stay were the students and younger folks. Most people old enough to remember Bum stayed. James Mosley 1 Quote
badndn Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 I was very critical about the kids throwing the bottles of powder and water bottles onto the track. I even chewed their asses at the game, but I found out later that the G Crew told them to do so earlier in the game because it would be easier to clean up than leaving them in the stands. Not sure why they didn't just bring the trash cans up to the exits and have them throw them out as they exited the stands. Not very well thought out. Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 PNG had a large number stay for the Bum tribute, not sure what pic us being referred to Quote
PNGFan Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 We stayed, we were actually on the field. Quote

Anyone who has lived in Mid-County all of their life knows that the BE doesn't cover Ned/PNG sports teams very much. It's one of the main reasons we stopped subscribing to them years ago.
