wo-s#1 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 We have very few true JV players that was mostly our freshman. You know the same freshman that beat y'all last year as 8th graders and if we played your true freshman team it would have been another defeat for you. Your Freshman group CAN'T beat this HJ freshman group. On a side note I found it to be bad form to not let the HJ crowd sit on the visitor side.for years now at jv games fans sit together, prolly cuz it's too much to clean up just for a jv game, and for the most part fans stay pretty quiet Quote
MoFo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 So you think you might can beat us once out of the next 4 or 5 years? Already have last year. Freshman group at HJ is one of the best classes of athletes I have seen in a long time. Quote

We played Tatum JV at home this year they had less than 10 people in the stands we did not close our stands down to them. the gentleman that told us we could not sit over there because WOS did not want to open the restrooms, Some of our parents told him that we would walk over to the home side if we needed to use the restroom but he still said they could not sit there. MoFo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Also want to clarify that the WOS fans were not rude or disrespectful but as a parent you want to sit on your kids side. On a side note had one of THE BEST popcorn balls I have ever had. Quote

This is what happens when two teams (JV and Freshman) that do not practice together end up having to merge. It is what it is. Quote
MoFo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Also to give credit where credit is due your JV group throws the ball around very well, looks like they were for sure on the same page. What I expect to see from WOS sub varsity they play well together. Quote

It is what it is.take the bad snaps away and our 2 nd team offense don't ever come in and the score will still be close to what it was, most of the night we were still shutting down yalls offense,oh and I know u seen the big pick do it tonight and it's a pick 6 Quote

wo-s#1 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Ok I'm tired of typing my point is just cuz they beat us in m.s. don't mean anything ask bc they did it a time or two Quote

We earned every bit of that butt kicking. Quote

HJ2012 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 @Sports10 Not as fresh, tired, whatever you want to call it. I've seen HJ play West Orange many times. Most every time with very low expectations, but HJ has a very talented team this year. Never have I said they were unbeatable, I simply gave reasons as to why HJ won't go down so easily. I definitely never mentioned the word unstoppable in that context. I have my opinion on what I think the likelihood of the outcome is, and you have yours. I know no matter what I say, it's not going to change your mind. If HJ doesn't make it a game tonight, I will eat a boatload of crow. But if it's close, I fully expect to see all of these guys saying that it will be a blowout to eat theirs. Quote
bullets13 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 You are joking right? You dont think we have 8 kids as fast or faster than him?? lolAnd they'll all be on the field, right? meaning HJ's line will be blocking against all of the 170 lb speedsters? I like how that lines up for HJ. realistically, WOS might have 1-2 guys on the field that could catch moreaux. then you can take the guy who's playing DB on the opposite side of the field out of the equation, because he won't be THAT much faster than Moreaux. maybe in an even footrace, but if they're coming from across the field or from 10 yards back because they got confused on who had the ball then that could be all she wrote. drewlsu Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Weather is great for a big time football game. 60 degrees around kickoff! Come early for booths for kids, starts at 5:30. If the game is half as exciting as all the hype we've given it, it will be one to remember! Safe travels to WOS students and fans, see you at in kickoff in 6 hours!! studd88 and Gasilla 2 Quote

MoFo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I've seen some crazy predictions on this one what's a blow out in ur mind? I would say 2 TD's or more by either team. Quote
wo-s#1 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I would say 2 TD's or more by either team.I think because how different these two are it could be at least 14 I think a blow out would have to be about 30 either way just the way I see it Quote
WOS92 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I wish I could be there to see it tonight. WO-S's speed on defense will be more of a factor than you guys think. I keep reading that the Hawks have plenty of speed to go around, so I'm assuming most of the ball carriers are not those from last year, who looked like the cast of "Cocoon" on horse tranquilizers. Everybody be safe out there. GO STANGS! Quote
bullets13 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I've seen some crazy predictions on this one what's a blow out in ur mind?3 scores in my mind. to me 35-21 isn't a blowout, although it's a convincing win. so i'll say a blowout is 20 points. Quote
