ladybug33
Thank you for your analogy. If I have an opinion it's my own  I have not seen your team play this year. Not familiar with them for the 5th time I have said that! RF is a 5A team credit coach T from scheduling quality teams who will give us experience that will be beneficial in the future. OK. Now as far as setting the table for excuse, the refs in the Beaumont Chapter well.... point blank.. they have in the past, and they do TODAY Those of us from WOS know about their play calling. I will be more than grateful to give you guys a send off into the next venture for HJ, knowing that district is not WOS goal it getting to the 4th round and then on the Dallas. JohnnyUppercuts
I love how you stang fans are setting yourselves up with excuses this early.. "the refs will have their say.." come on seriously?! hahaha.. Also i like how you are putting down the HJ talent.. HJ has had their eye on this game since last year.. with that said these boys have put in extra work and sweat to better themselves (not sure if that has anything to do with their success this year?) but i promise you this HJ will come out hungry.. Hope WOS is ready.
ladybug33
JUST MY POINT you define your season by WOS!!!, we are already champions and we stay ready. As far as the refs we always work around them, we have to work harder but they will not stop us from winning games. We have nothing to fear, Building up your teams ego is good . We will win this game!

bullets13
Bullets13 Since HJ has not beaten WOS lately, it would be a goal of theirs to end the season with a win. I believe it would define their season. You do not have to agree. I don't agree that having a defining win is the same thing as "their whole season is based on beating WOS". Worded that way, it would appear that HJ's season is not a success if they lose this game. this is not the case. In fact, WOS is the one who's season is based on beating HJ. If they don't win district, this will be a season that is remembered for a long time in WOS for a negative reason.
bullets13
@ Ice Posted Today, 12:09 AM What's so funny is how much you HJ fans are trying so hard to make yourselves feel as if you have already won! This game is silly because I have heard all the antics the HJ staff has taken to keep the players minds focused on WOS! Yes your undefeated and yes you have improved, so does that mean we haven't? Get real? We're not downplaying what you have accomplished and I'm actually happy for your kids! Seasons before were complete embarrassment and you have turned it around! I think its so funny that once you stopped being the dang doorstep for the district that now your the king! You run that silly offense that's designed to help the most pitiful programs in the country and now you feel as if we should all just bow down and say that your the best! If you want it then come take it! We're not running away! If you win then it will be the greatest accomplishment your program will ever experience and I will respectfully say congratulations and good game but until then just play the game and relax! No ones wants to read your 89 reasons why you will win this or 89 reasons why you deserve respect just do it and if you do that's cool! If you don't then be respectful as well and say congrats and good luck in the playoffs! It's high school football and anything can happen and on Halloween it's go to be the game to see! My prediction is " Game of the week " Hahahahaha obviously right!!!! Some are thinking that HJ is on the same level as Richmond Foster, that is really funny. Richmond Foster was a state ranked school when we played them. They have better talent as in player's than HJ does. My take on is that WOS will play hard, really hard, the offense will need to stay focused, however, fans in WOS get ready, the ref.s will have their say. I haven't seen ANYONE in any thread say that HJ is on par with Richmond Foster. but hey, maybe i missed it.

ladybug33
It means I'm bored with discussing HJ players and fans. Didn't label any fans on this thread for saying anything, when I do I address the source.

skipper
a week of rest should have helped hj out big time .last friday the scouting staff of hj left to early should have stuck around .you posters from hj say you have a better offense than orangefield what make you say that explain
drewlsu
HJ's players have completely bought in to this system. Half the time even sitting in the stands the misdirection will fool you. Dubois knows how to get the defense to adjust to what he wants and then will beat them either around the outside or even, through the air. 😀 I know it's rare, but when it's called their passing game seems to come through. While most criticize this offense because it is slow and limits possessions, we have scored 21 or more in every game, and average just over 39 while allowing just over 19. We have some backs who are bruisers and a couple speedsters (just ask HF)! Our QB also runs, truthfully, on any play four different backs could have the ball or it could end up being an option pass. drewlsu
No doubt Coach T will preach assignments to his linebackers and tell his linemen to disrupt, disrupt, disrupt, but once this offense gets moving the defense often ends up on its heels. bullets13
That's the same thing Orangefield thought. But we shall see. Good luck to HJ I'm thinking that they'll do better than OF because a) OF had just come off a tough loss to HJ, and b) HJ has had two weeks to gameplan and rest up. But you're right, we will see. drewlsu
And OF sees it everyday in practice! We will see just how different HJ is versus OF and if we can cause some confusion to WOS. Excited for Friday night! Get there early unless you want standing room only! :)

Excited for Friday night! Get there early unless you want standing room only! :) It's always standing room only on the visitors side. LOL! Actually, we could say the same thing about what you will face when we've got the ball. Do you really believe that your dbs can stay with our receivers? Again, good luck to HJ. drewlsu
It wont be an easy assignment. DT can go the distance at any time. Will they go cover 2 or cheat a saftey to his side, I dunno... I hope that your QB will have to be moving around more because we are getting pressure, maybe that way his throws will be just enough off target that we can make a play on them. We do have some DBs with speed but they don't have the size to go along with it.

But I do think HJ can pressure your qb better than OF did. And if he doesn't have all the time in the world to wait for the deep ball to open up, HJ DOES have the linebackers to cause problems if he's forced to look for shorter passes.
