I think, just simply because of the records and rankings, it is considered an upset. Now, how large of an upset? That's debatable. Kountze is a much better football team than I was expecting.

Kountze over Buna. And depending on who you ask, HJ over WO-S. Some consider than an upset, some don't. I think the Old Coach rankings have WO-S ahead of HJ. So by that token, it would be an upset.

Wos upsets hj and the hooterville fans. hj should be favored against poor WOS who fields it's worst team ever according to some while hj clearly fields the best team they ever had. Unfortunately for hj fans unlike last year at Silsbee, no moral victories here, a loss will be a loss. With great expectations, sometimes great failures happen.
