Silverback Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 44-7 spirit of the rule still intact. :\ Quote
MoJo1972 Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 I hate to say it, but some of those Lumberton players showed some really poor sportsmanship tonite. Quote
hunch Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Spirit of rule? What the heck does that mean? Oh yeah just try not to score so bobcat will b happy. Quote
hunch Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Just curious are cut blocks by running back on defensive end or lineman legal? Where back blocks below knee like no. 30 does for black. Good block if legal just don't c how it is. Seems dangerous JoeBuck111 1 Quote

I know ncaa and nfl, but we don't follow those so that doesn't help. This is not a comment about the game. if anyone wants to clarify for me reply or send me a private message Quote
Boys of Fall Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Cut blocks are legal as long as they are not on crack backs I beleive Quote
hunch Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 I know traditional but is that only crackback Quote
vp93 Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 A block below the waist is legal as long as you are lined up head up or inside the player being blocked. So a crack back block (a block by a player split out can not come in and block a player below the waist. Also the block below the waist must be towards the goal you are going towards. Of course a chop block is illegal: which is a defender is being blocked by one player and another one blocks below the waist on the same player. Quote
