WildcatBacker Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 See, now this is why I really am starting to disrespect these rankings. I know it may be odd to hear this coming from a Kirbyville fan, but in all honesty, Buna should be ahead of us. They beat us, fair and square, so they earned it. Yet, they're one behind us. I just don't get it.. Quote

GATA! Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 It's ok we beat WOS, OF beat us, we knock off #2 last Friday lol, the way the season has played out this poll is hard to rank Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Bigdog Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 I had to Google Leverett's Chapel , I honestly have never heard of that school. Quote
Back2swag Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 It's ok we beat WOS, OF beat us, we knock off #2 last Friday lol, the way the season has played out this poll is hard to rank it's ok because 6 weeks from now , Newton will be the only team still playing football in this poll . Quote

OleMoe Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 That's how I see it also. Even if WOS beats HJ I'm sure HJ will be put before Newton. Probably the same with EC when Kirbyville beats them. We beat WOS and they are in front of us. Newton is about as high in this poll as we gonna be..I say most of the teams in front of us will be playing round ball while Newton is still playing with the pigskin.. We been doing pretty well from the bottom of this poll so far. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 I had Buna #7, Kirbyville #8. Quote
ecbucs1994 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 There appears to be an obvious 4A bias in this poll. Quote
EAGLEFOREVER Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Polls are just opinions, I have never seen a poll win a football game. Quote

EAGLEFOREVER Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 If polls won football games there would be no reason to play them, now would there? And all those high ranking teams wouldn't get beat. Quote

ecbucs1994 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 EC would never win a game in this area. They always start out below the "chosen" schools and have to work their way up every year. Quote

Like HJ? Or Huffman? I mean, those two teams ALWAYS get the top spots at the start of the season!!!!! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
ecbucs1994 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 No I agree. They are the exception as well. Both have earned their spot this year. Huffman had to earn their spot. HJ earned it pretty early because "the click" adopted them early. HJ deserves to be ontop until they play WOS then I guarantee they will fly to the top. If they lose then they might drop a spot, maybe. Quote
