SKINS Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 I might have a heart attack. Someone have 911 on speed dial. Quote
STiger85 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Report Posted October 28, 2014 I told ya. A trap game. Should have ran the ball. smh Quote
Daytonfan9210 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 On the coaches or on romo. The worst call I seen was when they let romo back in. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Colt played well. He may not be a starter in this league, but he has a long career ahead of him. Quote
bullets13 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 8 yards on a 1st down run, then 3 straight passes. I don't understand! I got back on here to post this. This looked like the cowboys of years past. Poor pass protection, the defense giving up points when they need the stop, and baffling play calling that everyone in the stadium knows cost you a chance at winning. The way the boys were running the ball they might could've driven all the way down without ever throwing a pass. So lets let our gimpy qb throw three times. Terrible. The only positive is that we're still 6-2, and even if we lose to Arizona we have Jacksonville after that to go at least 7-3. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 That playcalling was terrible. No blocking the blitz tonight. All you need is 3 yards in OT you pa…… nevermind, im going to bed. Smh Quote
ST413 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 This is on the coaches for play calling and putting Romo back in under those circumstances. Quote
ST413 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 2nd and goal from the 3 backup qb two incomplete passes......2nd and three in OT and three straight incomplete passes by a hurt qb against a blitzing defense. In a situation where Romo has made mistakes in the past, a good way to cause a loss of some confidence. Quote
SKINS Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 On the coaches or on romo. The worst call I seen was when they let romo back in. Both, he should have known better than to try to get back in. Quote
SKINS Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Looking back at some film, refs missed a huge and horribly blatent hold by smith in the end zone on Dallas's last drive of regular time, should have been a safety. Quote
bullets13 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Both, he should have known better than to try to get back in. I disagree with that. Any player wants to get back in. And as good as weeden looked, the coaches should've made that call. No team leader is going to make the choice of staying out if they think they're healthy enough to go in and play. Quote

No team leader is going to make the choice of staying out if they think they're healthy enough to go in and play. I agree completely. He shouldn't have been in with that injury but the coaches had to make that decision. He was set up to fail in this one. Quote
jordibug15 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Well they said Romo was in the locker room asking to go back in. Quote
ST413 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yes I would have wanted to as well but the coaches should had said no. They had a qb that had two good drives leave him in and don't risk Tony getting hurt or having limited effectiveness. Quote
jordibug15 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 I agree. I told my mom they dont need to put Romo back in this game let him sit and be ready for Sunday right before he went back out Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Well they said Romo was in the locker room asking to go back in. Players with concussions do the same thing. The team has to protect him from himself. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Bigdog Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Looking back at some film, refs missed a huge and horribly blatent hold by smith in the end zone on Dallas's last drive of regular time, should have been a safety. They also missed a couple of PI penalties on that last drive and holding all second half on the skins. Dosen't matter. Dallas should have run the ball down their throats all night and kept throwing screens to catch them on the blitzes. Poor play calling on both sides of the ball for Dallas. Quote
STiger85 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Report Posted October 28, 2014 You just have to syh and wonder. What would it have hurt if Weeden would have stayed in and ran that last drive. Hey, if we score we win if we don't score we go to overtime. Then if you want Romo in OT put him in. Quote
Bigdog Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 You just have to syh and wonder. What would it have hurt if Weeden would have stayed in and ran that last drive. Hey, if we score we win if we don't score we go to overtime. Then if you want Romo in OT put him in. Yeah, Weeden looked pretty good while he was in. He has a real strong arm! And even I could go in and hand it off to Murray. LOL Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yeah, Weeden looked pretty good while he was in. He has a real strong arm! And even I could go in and hand it off to Murray. LOL Yeah you might be able to but Weeden had that one handoff that was terrible and we almost lost the ball because of it. Quote
Bigdog Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yeah you might be able to but Weeden had that one handoff that was terrible and we almost lost the ball because of it. I'm sure that was nerves being in the game for the first time. He looked pretty good after that. Quote

Yeah he did look good but I'm just saying that might have made the coaches nervous cuz the last thing we needed was a turn over. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Romo came back in and almost turned it over twice. Quote
