either louisville is pretty good or fsu is really overrated this year
The silver lining in all of this is that it makes Notre Dame fans shut the **** up. This wipes out their best argument for relevancy.

24-7 now 3rd qtr

@max_olson: Somebody built up one heck of a fast, tough, mean defense at Louisville.

This D is what Texas wants to emulate.

I just turned on the game. Texas has been doing a good job of emulating this all year.

Line dropped from 7 to a field goal. You know John Q. Public was all over the Noles. Some heavy money got put on Louisville and was licking its chops most of the game. And then, not so much...

F$U will not repeat as NC.
If they make playoffs, somebody will take them out.

They will make the playoffs and are the best team. But the way they've played all season, I would have to agree with you.

Kinda sad for me.

My Dad is a FSU alumni, I grew up wanting to go to FSU but couldn't/wouldn't afford out of state tuition.

Noles have always been one of my favorites, especially under Bowden.

One of my favorite games of all time was when my Dad and I went to the Cotton Bowl together in 1992.  A real barn burner: ATM lost 10-2.  Some kid named Bucky was Aggie QB.

But this regime has me nauseous.  My Dad is beside himself about the circus in Tallahassee.

Oh well, things have a way of taking care of themselves.

Bobby Bowden was one of the truly great guys of college football. Many of those he mentored absorbed his class (eg, mark richt and Mack brown). I'm with you. It's more than sad. I often rooted on them because of how much I respected Bowden.
