TxHoops Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 Redskins broke his back. Can we have Colt? Cleveland thought Weeden was better. Sounds like a fair trade... Quote
SKINS Posted November 1, 2014 Author Report Posted November 1, 2014 We can give you Captain Kirk. But Colt is off limits. Quote
JWB Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I like Colt too....we'll trade Randle and Weeden for him Quote
SKINS Posted November 2, 2014 Author Report Posted November 2, 2014 I like Colt too....we'll trade Randle and Weeden for him I see what your trying to do there. JWB 1 Quote
baddog Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Weeden was doing just fine. Romo should not have re-entered the game. The bookies mopped up on this game. Quote
JWB Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Romo is likely out until after the bye, Weeden is in...as long as we continue to run the ball, IMO...We'll be good Quote
bullets13 Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Romo officially inactive. Weeden pretty much too. shovel and TxHoops 2 Quote
TxHoops Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 Weeden was doing just fine. Romo should not have re-entered the game. The bookies mopped up on this game. I think Weeden played well given what he can do. I wonder how men paid millions to make decisions in the nfl can watch colt and Weeden and determine Weeden is the guy. He's serviceable but incapable of a lot of what Colt gives you. I guess that's why they are the browns. And poor johnny football is next on the chopping block. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 Jerruh jones is going to be partly responsible for the premature ending to Romeo's career if he keeps putting him in games after injuries. Quote
bullets13 Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I think Weeden played well given what he can do. I wonder how men paid millions to make decisions in the nfl can watch colt and Weeden and determine Weeden is the guy. He's serviceable but incapable of a lot of what Colt gives you. I guess that's why they are the browns. And poor johnny football is next on the chopping block. The team around colt was terrible. When it was determined colt wasn't good enough to pull them out of an impossible hole, they moved onto the next guy. Now they've moved on to the next guy. And so on, so forth. TxHoops 1 Quote
Ty Cobb Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Sounds like Tony Romo has a chance of playing this week vs the jaguars. I sure hope he's healthy enough because I don't think the COWBOYS can win with Brandon Weeden at QB. Quote
jordibug15 Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 They better not loose to Jacksonville Sunday. I'll be beyond mad even though I was born there lol Quote
JWB Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Romo participated in practice Friday. If he's able to go, I say play him. Lets get the Win and go into the bye week on a positive note. Weeden has proven to be a backup QB in the league and thats it. RUN THE BALL!!! GO COWBOYS!!! Ty Cobb 1 Quote
mat Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Jerry will make sure he plays in London JWB 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Good win today against a bad Jacksonville team. Romo played well, Murray got 100, and Dez got his with 2 TD's. Great time for their bye week to get healthy for the Giants in 2 weeks. Quote
jordibug15 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Soooo glad they beat my hometown Quote
baddog Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 The score could have been much worse. Garbage TD at the end and Bailey's 54 yd. FG instead of a Witten TD early. Sure missed McClain today. JWB 1 Quote
Ty Cobb Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Jerry will make sure he plays in London Great job by Jerry Jones making sure his starting QB played. The COWBOYS couldn't have won the game with a backup QB. Another reason to love Jerry Jones and his 3 Super Bowls!!! Quote
SKINS Posted November 10, 2014 Author Report Posted November 10, 2014 Redskins beat the heck out of them with our backup, I'm sure the boysboys could have done the same. Quote
bullets13 Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Romo looked good. glad to see him moving around fairly well and throwing the ball pretty accurately. it was a bad team, but in the NFL, any win is a good win. baddog 1 Quote
westend1 Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 Romo is one of the best 10 quarterbacks in the world. He has a few screw ups, but who would you want in his place? Whoever it is, you cant get him. bullets13 1 Quote

Whoever it is, you cant get him. All true. Could have maybe gotten manning as a free agent a few years ago though. If he stays healthy, been very pleased to See what tony has been able to do with a quality OL. Quote
badndn Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Folks are finally getting to see the value of Tony Romo with a strong OL and running game. Not having to heave it up 40-50 times a game just to stay in it. But knowing he can do so if needed. Quote
