Crosby v PNG and Ned v Dayton double header

I'm just saying Ned and PNG tend to draw a lot more, not saying they would. But having something like that would tend to draw people from other schools to watch. I think I'd be a great thing for everyone involved

Until Ned or PNG get Bout 3 or 4/deep, neither typically have a crowd like what draws for MCM, at least that's what I've noticed the past 15-20 years. MCM is typically the largest attendance or similar to the playoff games

Ozen isn't making the playoffs and Lamar is playing at their own stadium on that Saturday.

Come on. You have to admit. GCM's defense is Swiss Cheese. Even Ozen well be able to move the ball and score on them. I think Ozen has good enough defense to stall out some drives.... that's if GCM can pay a mistake free game for consecutive weeks..

No, It was Brazosport according to Dave Campbells.. We where D2.. Of course Ned was D1, so no chance of playing them in that year..

Nope. Campbell is wrong. It was Waller. Nederland picked off Mcown 5 times to pull the upset and PNG Waller game started at 9:30 and was over by 10. PNG whooped Waller scoring 50+. We played Brazosport the next week. Then LaMarque.

There was a double header in the dome Ned/PNG and the PNG game didn't get started til around 9:00 ish or later.  We got home around midnight and PNG was still playing.

 Yes and it was FREEZING COLD that day. Ozen played 1st on the homeside and Central were visitors but we ended up sitting on home side because most of Central fans were at Ozen game and they would not let us cross the field to sit on the visitors side unless we left out the gate and paid for another ticket. So we all stayed on the home side. LOL

Yep I made all those trips to Thorne. That was before we had our turf so it was a big deal. I remember one school played Conroe Caney Creek and the other one played Conroe Oak Ridge.
