jordibug15
1. So if some amazing thing happens and my boys beat Nederland and Central wins does that mean Central is outright district champs? Because didn't they only have one loss in district? 2. Okay just wondering when someone gets a first down doesn't the clock just stop till the ball is set then starts running again? I mean unless they call a time out or go out of bounds. Callaway7
Yes on both accounts, and it'll stop but doesn't take long to start it back up.
jordibug15
Okay that's what I thought. I thought I was right yesterday about the clock because I kept saying the clock should be running after a few first downs

Alpha Wolf
Are your Raiders up for the task of making the Jaguars outright district champs? On any given day, any team can be beat. Just ask CE King and many others...

Yeah I know if they go out but a few times the player never went out and a time out wasn't called.

ST413
I have been wondering how the clock stoppage worked this year with the different play clock. It seems like I have seen the ref on the field try to keep the clock running even after a first down is made. I know it has always stopped until the chains are reset. Callaway7
It's now not on chain set but ball set and officials in postion. HL can drop a bean bag for chains to get there if offense is ready and officials are there .
Peppermint Patty
I all depends on who is running the clock.
Bumblebee97
after a first down the white cap will wind the clock when the ball is set and all the refs in place .the clock operator starts the on the officials signal.
