vsports Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 lets talk about who can lift over 400 lbs. chase ferguson vidor 420 at lumberton meet 415 at reginals. tried 450 almost lifted that.
stang4life Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 First off, not every strong kid is on juice. To throw that out there is irresponsible. Wedekind had a 1260 3 lift total at Dayton before he came to BC, but had a lot more strength than that in him. It's sad that it's gotten to the point where kids don't believe they can get strong unless they are "juicing." He's busted his tail everyday in the weight room since he's been at BC, and it's showing in the meets. He is a 510, 365, 510 guy now. Did you refer to your own comments before pm'ing me???
preacher Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 I lifted 385 as a senior and that didn't help me with my grades in college a bit. Amazing how much you can lift has no impact on what the mind can do.
hj_hawk_60 Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 all of our strong guys keep up with their grades... because they know the main rule of UIL...FAIL = NO FOOTBALLso they do whatever it takes to pass...
