king Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I have a feeling Miami is going to upset FSU at home. Coming off a bye this team is hot. Duke is playing like a man possessed. PhatMack19 Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Why do we have an AP poll? So we have something to argue about Quote
TxHoops Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 @SportsCenter: Latest AP Top 10: 1. Miss. St 2. Florida St 3. Auburn 4. Alabama 5. Oregon 6. TCU 7. Michigan St 8. Notre Dame 9. Kansas St 10. Baylor 3 sec teams and big12 teams. Due to upcoming games, one team will remain on the top 4 out of the sec. My guess is the winner of the iron bowl. They will be replaced by the Oregons, tcu/Baylor/k st, Michigan states, and possibly ND if they win out. And all will be correct in the system. As I have stated to those bemoaning the early polls, there is nothing to be concerned about other than tuning out the sec fans who haven't played their real games yet. There will be one, and only one, sec team. Unless of course, no one escapes with a single loss. Then there is a distinct possibility they get left out. Which would be hilarious. whatnamecanipick Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 So we have something to argue about OK What idiot would vote Miss St. #1 ahead of FSU, the defending national champion. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:260] Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 OKWhat idiot would vote Miss St. #1 ahead of FSU, the defending national champion. Idiots that have actually watched both teams play and don't really care about what happened last year. Quote
whatnamecanipick Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 Idiots that have actually watched both teams play and don't really care about what happened last year. You can't prove they have watched anything! They just vote on silly useless polls! We don't need them for the BCS anymore we have the committee and the playoffs! RaiderRed30 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Close: Bama/miss st winner Florida st Oregon Tcu/Baylor Florida State will end up losing in the acc championship game. Then it would be between possibly 2nd SEC school and the Big 10 champ which could be ohio state. They are quietly sneaking into the conversation. That would cause drama. As for Baylor/TCU saga if both end up with one loss shouldn't that be Baylor since they beat TCU in what basically becomes a play-in game. Quote

That will be interesting to see what the committe decides. I think TCU is the better team and controlled Baylor the whole game until the last few minutes when the wheels fell off. I would think you have to give Baylor the nod with the head to head win. Quote

Peppermint Patty Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 What about Arizona State? If they win the PAC 12, they will be in the final 4. Quote
SKINS Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 What about Arizona State? PAC 12 champ gets in. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 If they win the PAC 12, they will be in the final 4. I agree that they control their own destiny. They got hammered by UCLA though which doesn't look good on their resume. They do have some good wins that will get better with games against Arizona and Oregon, Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 10, 2014 Author Report Posted November 10, 2014 What about Arizona State?sucks to be them after a potential loss at Levi's Stadium in a couple weeks IF they get past Arizona. Quote
