SKINS Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Does a two loss SEC champ get in? Yeah. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Does a two loss SEC champ get in? Absolutely not if these one loss teams lurking don't drop another. For example, if Bama beats miss st and loses to your Tigers; and Miss st loses in the Egg Bowl as well; one loss teams like Ohio State, Baylor, Arizona State, etc. would jump them. There is no way the committee wants that kind of heat in year one putting 2 loss teams from power conferences ahead of 1 loss teams from power conferences. Quote
Eazy Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 And I'm sure Ole Miss and Auburn would happy to make sure all SEC teams have 2 losses. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 And I'm sure Ole Miss and Auburn would happy to make sure all SEC teams have 2 losses. Well, I am guessing they both are interested in winning their biggest rivalry games of the year...so yeah Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 What if Miss St wins out and loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship game? Who gets in? The Committe will take into account that the Big 12 doesn't play a championship Quote
Baba Ganoush Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 TCU jumps to 4 and Oregon jumps to 2 over Flotida State. I think they got this week right TxHoops 1 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 12, 2014 Author Report Posted November 12, 2014 Oregon at number 2 where they belong. I hope miss state beats bamer and fsu loses. Quote

The Committe will take into account that the Big 12 doesn't play a championship They do not take into account that the SEC teams do not play every team in their conference, so why would the Big XII championship matter? At least the Big XII champ has proved themselves on the field and not in the ESPN bedroom. Quote

The Committe will take into account that the Big 12 doesn't play a championship Obviously the committee has figured out that the sec is overrated. Thus, they ranked a one loss PAC 12 and big 12 team over any one loss sec teams. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Peppermint Patty Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 You can't handle the truth. That overrated SEC ........ At least you can admit they are overrated. One garbage team fails to win against another garbage team by fumbling twice and both are in the Top 25. SMDH. Quote
Holman Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 How Is Auburn #9?!?! So of 10 through 20 who would you have ahead of Auburn? And why? Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Nebraska not getting much respect. The Big Ten is on the outside looking in unless a lot of teams start losing ahead of them. BlackShirts5 1 Quote

BlackShirts5 Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Nebraska not getting much respect. The Big Ten is on the outside looking in unless a lot of teams start losing ahead of them. Nor do we deserve much yet. Had we beat Mich St we would still be ranked outside the top 10 lol. If we win out and beat OSU in the B1G champ game we get no higher then 6th. In my mind we could beat Baylor, TCU and Prob FSU. We would struggle with the SEC teams but I like our chances with the others. Quote
