Peppermint Patty Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Better than Auburn: UCLA Michigan State Notre Dame Utah Arizona Baylor I think that should cover it. Most of them play better defense than Auburn. Hell, Auburn lost to UTAM. That's just pathetic. Wal-Mart UT t-shirt > anything aggie Quote

Aggies should have lost that game. Auburn beats UCLA Michigan State Notre Dame Utah Arizona Baylor Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Auburn beats them all. Nope. Quote

Holman Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 Better than Auburn: UCLA Michigan State Notre Dame Utah Arizona Baylor I think that should cover it. Most of them play better defense than Auburn. Hell, Auburn lost to UTAM. That's just pathetic. Wal-Mart UT t-shirt > anything aggie Alright. Somethng of substance to respond to. Baylor is already ranked ahead of Auburn. It doesn’t look as if you put a lot of thought into your list. You harp on Auburn's poor defense. Here is the current rankings in total defense of the teams listed above. UCLA 76th in total defense Michigan State 10th Notre Dame 42nd Utah 66th Arizona 96th Baylor 15th Auburn 59th Oh, and by the way, Mississippi State is 88th overall in total defense. So by your standards they shouldn’t even be in the top 25. Anyway. From what I gather you are measuring Auburn by the loss to A&M ( and are disregarding Auburn’s away victories over OM & KSU. Plus the thorough drubbing of LSU. A&M may not be a strong team but they do have a winning record. And Auburn does have a quality loss to the number 1 team in the country, at their place after falling behind 21-0. UCLA beats 4-6 Virginia by 8, 6-3 Memphis by 7, 5-5 Texas by 3, 5-5 Cal by 2, 2-8 Colorado by 3. Two quality wins over the Arizonas. Quality Losses to Utah and Oregon. But they haven’t blown out the lesser lights. Nah. I don’t see UCLA being a better team than Auburn. Michigan State has played 3 teams with a winning record, losing two of them-Oregon and OSU. They are may be a tad over rated. They are not better than Auburn. Notre Dame’s only quality win is over 5-4 Stanford. Unless you want to count the victory over powerhouse 6-3 Rice. But hell even A&M beat Rice. And got beat like a drum by ASU. Notre Dame can’t be ranked ahead of Auburn. Utah? LOL. Utah is currently ranked 23. If Utah should be ranked ahead of Auburn, are you saying Utah is the number 9 team in the country or are you saying Auburn should be ranked 24th in the country. 3 losses on the season. One of which was to 3-7 Washington State at home. A&M would easily beat WSU. Two OT win over 4-5 Oregon State. One quality win- UCLA. Utah is currently ranked 23. Can't put Utah ahead of Auburn. Arizona might be better than Auburn. Big win over Oregon. Quality losses to USC and UCLA. They are a good team. Yet their defense is worse than Auburn's. So we can't put them ahead of Auburn Baylor is already ranked ahead of Auburn. And there you have it. Quote
