Not your normal monday in Patriot Country, with the game being played on Thursday and having a short practice week combined with the significance of this being a "playoff game", there's defintely a sense of urgency, and a confident vibe over here. Should have a good turnout for this one, not too many games in the area with this much at stake, being played Thursday, as well as CE King being 20 minutes from baytown, they will all be there to see who they might play next week. And Crosby, the Hill and dayton are all close as well so i expect to see them along with our fellow baytown schools RSS & REL! Should be an exciting game, but if we dont turn the ball over, it should be 52-30 GCM moves on to face King in the Bi-District round!

No team in our district can stop the run, it's not just an Ozen problem. If our backs get more than 8 carries a piece, GC will have the same problem stopping the run.

Agree. Nederland ran it 50 times for 411 and threw for another 203 last week and LOST! 614 yards and 56 points and LOSE! GCM did most of their damage on the ground with a little over 400 of their 474 total yards on the ground. Neither team turned the ball over.

The key to this game will be taking care of the ball. The Panthers and Patriots have plenty of speed and talent.
