LumRaiderFan Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 The ones that didnt turn out are disgruntled democrats that see him for what he is now, because the rep. showed up and voted ! Or maybe they lost their job and couldn't afford the gas to get there. 77 and baddog 2 Quote
NorthoftheBorder Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Yes, veto, veto, veto against the wishes of the majority as represented by this country. It will cement his position below Jimmy Carter in the annals of history. Jimmy Carter is so far ahead of him already that Obama can't even see him anymore. Quote
Big girl Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 the majority of the house and senate, as elected by the country, is now republican. so the majority in the house and senate, as elected by the majority of the country, should compromise with the lame duck president? this makes no sense. I'm not a conservative either. anybody who reads this site will tell you that. you dont make any sense. Quote

Big girl Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: The two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you too. When the president himself is in denial and does not except or respect the peoples vote, why would anyone expect his most loyal supporters to. Whereas, Obama may be correct, the voter turnout was low (as it usually is in mid terms) it can hardly be determined that all those who did not vote would support his agenda. In fact it may very well mean, the turnout was at least somewhat lower due to some that supported him before, no longer do, and simply chose not to participate. The best I can figure, Obama thinks that sense he won back to back elections that the majority of the "citizens" do still support his policies, and whether they voted or not he will continue his agenda on their behalf, as ridiculous as that may seem to some of us. winning back to back elections is great. You sound ridiculous. Quote

stevenash Posted November 8, 2014 Author Report Posted November 8, 2014 It doesn't matter if he can. If he gives you a good reason, you will say that it is all untrue. Quote

44stack Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Lame duck. Obama got shellacked the other night. Or rather his policies did. After all, he is the one that said his policies were on the ballot. What an embarrassing rout of a defeat it was for him. Even his home (blue)state of Illinois elected a Rep Governor over one that Obama campaigned for. He's the emperor with no clothes. baddog 1 Quote
stevenash Posted November 8, 2014 Author Report Posted November 8, 2014 VETO lol Good strategy Big Girl- to Hel_ with what is good for the country or what the majority wants. As long as the messiaha either wins or goes down with some degree of revenge/defiance. Very good examples of the tolerance and civility he so often demanded of the country. baddog 1 Quote

baddog Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Big girl, your every post makes you look sillier than a couple in a Cialis commercial. I guess that when all the ammo you have is veto, then it is next to throwing rocks.....not much punch and very unsophisticated. I don't think you understand any of Obama's policies or care how they affect everyone. You follow him for only one reason and that is obvious. Obama is a communist and Muslim. Are you? His philosophy does not fit a capitalistic society and the American people have responded in force to stymie practically anything he has done and everything he will attempt. Our government is set up so that people like Obama cannot become dictators and force their will upon the masses. It is a good thing for everyone. 77 1 Quote
