AshlyHasBeen Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Carthage went 5-5 this year. Losses were to Hallsville, Nacogdoches, Gladewater, Gilmer and Henderson. Quote
Tiger33 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Last decade Nobody else has done what they have in the last 8 years. LCM ain't a bad club though. Seen them vs Vidor this year Lcm did not play vidor this year. I Quote

Tiger33 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Patriots / pirates It's all the same. I just know it was in Mauriceville and the Bears won, but it was a tight game Well the stadium is in Little Cypress lol. Are you going to the Carthage and LCM game? Quote

Tiger33 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 No but will you keep me posted young man. I'll be hunting in Oklahoma Yes sir I will. Quote
BearBB2001 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Wouldn't it be nice if LCM would go into this game with the mind set that they had when they went against teams of the last years? Quote
kicker Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 IMO, Carthage is about 50% of what they were in years past. With that said, those losses they have this year might be deceiving. Either way, LCM has a better chance of winning this game than Carthage last year or the 4 before that. Quote
Guest MTJ Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 I will be there to see this one. Let's go Dawgs! Quote
Bulldog92 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 I saw earlier in the thread that someone had Jasper coming out of Region 3. To me, Jasper's playing better right now than they have in years and could very well go deep into the playoffs, but Navasota might be better than they were two years ago when nobody could touch them. That is scary. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Carthage returned 1 starter, ONE, from last year's state championship team. Pretty impressed they finished tied for 1st in that district. Quote
marshman Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 No but will you keep me posted young man. I'll be hunting in Oklahoma I wished I was hunting in Oklahoma!!! Good luck! Quote
marshman Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Better bring the long handles and heavy coats for this game! With a night game in Lufkin and that cold front coming in, a good possibility temps could be in the 30's by the 4th qtr! Quote
Uncle Pig Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Where is Carthage? 30 minutes west of Shreveport Quote
Bearclaw Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Let's go Bears. Do your best and you will be fine. Goooooooo. Bears marshman and Tiger33 2 Quote

Guest MTJ Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Ancient Carthage - a Semitic civilization centered on the Phoenician city-state of Carthage, located in North Africa on the Gulf of Tunis, outside what is now Tunis, Tunisia. It was founded in 814 BC. Originally a dependency of the Phoenician state of Tyre, Carthage gained independence around 650 BC and established a hegemony over other Phoenician settlements throughout the Mediterranean, North Africa and what is now Spain, which lasted until the end of the 3rd century BC. At the height of the city's prominence, it was a major hub of trade with political influence extending over most of the western Mediterranean. Sorry, I could not resist. Quote
jeffcoat Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Where is Carthage? Follow the state championship rings up 69/96 thru Center about 30 miles and look for the lights and the SEC indoor facility. You cant miss it Quote
skipper Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Well, you might want to reconsider. They have 3 rings in 5 years.I was at the WOS game. Carthage handled them even on an Off night[/quoteIN YOUR DREAMS Quote
GeauxMe Posted November 11, 2014 Author Report Posted November 11, 2014 Well, you might want to reconsider. They have 3 rings in 5 years. I was at the WOS game. Carthage handled them even on an Off night [/quoteIN YOUR DREAMS You know it's the truth Skip. Even turned the ball over right before half or it would have been worse than a 14 pt Dawg victory. I think Stark was the 2nd best team in the state that year though. Quote
Uncle Pig Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 Two totally different 5-5 teams. Carthage runs away with this one Quote
