Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 19, 2014 Author Report Posted November 19, 2014 Long season but this team is looking like 2012. Good lawd. And we aint even at our full potential yet. Goodness. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 19, 2014 Author Report Posted November 19, 2014 32 point win versus #5 Kansas. Neutral site. And we didn't even play a complete game. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 That team is scary deep. Very impressed with Duke too. Going to be a great year in CBB. Footnote: the Horns will crush the jayhawks on the boards this year. Kansas struggled with them last year with Embid and without Turner. CThoops and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote

aTmfan06 Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 I'm looking forward to texas vs Kentucky.. This is prolly the best Texas team I've seen in years.. So deep.. And a lot of size. CThoops and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
Baba Ganoush Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Kentucky Would Smack the 76ers Any college team beating any pro team is a stretch. The worst player in the league is pretty friggin good. It's a roster full of pros while a great college team could have 4-5 potential pros. The running rebels with plastic man and grand ma ma probably could have stayed within 15 of a pro team. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 20, 2014 Author Report Posted November 20, 2014 @SportsCenter: Could a college team beat an NBA team? According to @LVsportsbook, at a neutral site, 76ers would be a 17-point favorite over Kentucky. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 26, 2014 Author Report Posted November 26, 2014 Good grief, Cats gave up only 12pts 1st half versus UT-A. 55-12 halftime smh. These guys play defense like I wish my Celtics would. Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 26, 2014 Author Report Posted November 26, 2014 I wish UT point guard was healthy. I still think UT will be a better challenge. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 I wish UT point guard was healthy. I still think UT will be a better challenge. Me too. They are still pretty deep (not UK deep but deep for normal team) and Felix is serviceable. Losing your leading scorer is a killer though when playing a team like Kentucky, and on the road to boot. May not be the last time we see this matchup though. Barnes has a chance to have a really good club. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

TxHoops Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Texas will really get after you on the defensive end of the floor. Those are the teams I love because you can be in every game regardless of how well you are shooting it. I think this is a great game for the Kentucky youngsters (freshmen) and grizzled vets (sophomores) to get them a real test early in the year. Hard to find many tests for this team.
