WOW!!  From the article concerning obamacare:  “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”  Folks, they counted on your stupidity to believe their lies such as, "You get to keep your doctor and you get to keep your health insurance plan," such as, "Your premiums are gonna come down," such as, "No they're not taxes!  And you're gonna get subsidies if you can't afford it, so don't sweat it.  Everything's gonna be fine."  If it starts out as a lie, for the good Of the American people, it must be done away with.  Sooner than later...

He is only partially correct. A majority of the country did not fall for it and Obamacare had a substantial negative opinion of the people. The party in power passed in the face of all the opposition from the people they were supposed to be representing. 

 

That has caused the pounding they have received in the three subsequent elections from a super majority in both houses to the loss of both houses. 

 

Basically the public didn't fall for it but the Dems passed it anyway. They are now paying the price. 

 

At least he admitted that they knew it was bogus.

We also know that in order for the government to give something to someone, they have to take away something from someone else.  We  know that there are a sufficient number of these give/take programs in place before Obamacare.  You are going to tell us when we are wrong?  What makes you an authority on it?  Because you are a nurse?  Dr. Ben Carson is more of an authority on it than you are so perhaps we should ask him when we are wrong.

I agree with him except he should have been a bit more specific, the low information or the I don't pay anyway "democrat" voters / politicians.

 

It has been debated on here in many forms of discussion...you can not tax the corporation per se...that extra cost will only be passed down to the consumers. So, it seems by leading (lieing) to the public that we will only tax the "big bad monster insurance company" the idiots (low info democrats, and their reps) thought this was a good idea.....and of course passed it without a single Republican vote and against the will of the majority of the peoples wishes...so it's not that Americans are stupid....just a certain block of Americans (some not even that - illegal aliens).

 

Since this article "blocks" all Americans as stupid due to a few (compared to overall population), would it be so far fetched to blame a certain group that voted 97% for this president...or a certain group that supports 11 million ILLEGALS being in our country? I think NOT!

He does it again - in essence calling the low information democratic voters and politicians stupid. We all know the republicans saw right through this, not a single Republican voted for it.
