Don't get to excited,  Kilgore is 4-6.

Yes, a 4-6 team that played a very tough schedule, lost some very close games, and was a state finalist last year.  Not your average 4-6 team.  They did knock off their district champion last week.  If this is indicative of the strength of their district this year, there may be a sweep for district 10, not 9.

Still 34-6 with about 11 minutes left. Kilgore had the ball for all but three plays of the third quarter, but Kilgore couldn't score on a tired Jasper defense. Good sign for Jasper.

Coach Barbay always has Jasper prepared when it comes to Playoffs. Wouldn't doubt Jasper or count them out in any playoff games.

Kilgore seems to get flagged almost every time they make a big play. On the other hand, I don't think Jasper has been flagged at all yet.

Go Dogs!!!! For those of y'all who have kept up with all of High School football this season, what does the next round potentially look like for Jasper? It's either Sealy or Stafford from what I gather. Anyone know anything on either team.

On Dave Campbell they have Jasper going at least 3 rounds deep so I was just wondering. I won't count the dogs out in any playoff game coming up.

One of the editors of DCTF has us going four rounds and losing to Navasota and the other has us going three and losing to Henderson. I think we can play with anyone, but so did Kilgore before they played Jasper. One game at a time. :)

The way we're playing, anything could happen. I'd feel better if the offense had run more than six plays the whole second half and scored, but the defense was pretty stout and I think that's more important.
