skipper Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 I do hope the mustangs running game take off and keeps the flags off the field. mustangs fans know that the mustangs can take it all the way on any given play and now with the jv kid in he is one heck of a back. with him and teat behind dallas its going to be fun to watch speed and power in the backfield WATCH OUT Quote
drewlsu Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 The Hwy 90 from Beaumont through Liberty & Dayton is a better and shorter route. Plus, you get to drive through Hawk Country. (Sorry, had too :) ) Quote
kicker Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Plus, you get to drive through Hawk Country. (Sorry, had too :) ) Will close my eyes the whole time.........will get my wife to drive.😠Quote
ladybug33 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Too many good teams went down today. WOS still the best :) Quote

marshman Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 How does Giddings O line match up with WOS D line and vice versa? Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 This may be a tougher game than the pending match up with LaMarque. This is a toss up. Quote
skipper Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 COULD BE CLOSE THE FIRST HAFE THEN TURN OUT THE LIGHTS Quote
ladybug33 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 There is not much info. about the Buffaloes. Quote
bullets13 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 I don't think WOS has a big problem with this one. Giddings is a pretty good team, but I think people in other parts of the state look at WOS's two losses and don't realize they're playing like an 11-0 team right now. chukslegacy and griff 2 Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 They are playing like a district champion that had a bye. Every team that is in the 2nd round is playing like they are "11-0". ?That is among the more ridiculous statements I have heard. Quote

WOS, since their second loss, has been playing incredible football. The point I was making is that people in other parts of the state who are predicting WOS to struggle with Giddings see the two losses and think WOS is down this year. Having seen them play a couple of times, I know how good they actually are. For the past 6-7 weeks they've been playing like a top-3 team in the state, much better than their 2-loss record would indicate. chukslegacy 1 Quote

Can't argue with him, he still thinks Huff and Puffington is feared across the state. Guess the Falcons aren't quite playing up to that 11-0 level. Oops, forgot, he isn't a Falcon fan. griff 1 Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 They have been playing like a "top 3" team in the state for the last 6-7 weeks? The Scarborough game is definitely and indicator for a "top 3" team. Have you also watched all of the "actual top 3" teams? Do they look like "top 3" teams or just ""top 10" teams? Quote

He looks for any and every reason to criticize anything relating to setx football. You see, unless you win a state title every year, your team is a nobody and no one has ever heard of you. It's unfortunate, but that's his logic. His only purpose here is to constantly criticize. Quote
ladybug33 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 One point to note is that the scouts who witnessed the Scarborough game did not get too many x’s and o’s to use against the Varsity team, because , the JV was just awesome. I would bet that some of the (JV Players) will see more playing time on Friday night. Congrats to Coach “T†a for excellent game management plan that addressed a sticky situation that could have been even worse. Good job coach. skipper 1 Quote

tennisbc Posted November 17, 2014 Author Report Posted November 17, 2014 I was wondering if KOGT will broadcast the game? So far KOGT web site has not posted anything yet. Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 I'm sure they will! This has been a great rivalry through the years! Giddings is good and has good size on their D-line. We're going to have to bust them in the mouth right off top! I can't wait for this one! Quote
skipper Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 the mustangs DEFENSE has to much speed get off the blocks in a hurry and all 11 kids on the ball ,this has been there trade mark all year long.the mustangs take pride in the way they play defense and it gets better each game .now on the offense side of the ball the stings have been working on there blocking skills and its starting to show and with the young dallas qb who is very close to passing for 2,000 yards and his running skills are just outstanding. ok now the special teams for wo-s NO ONE COMES CLOSE TO THEM Quote
