District 9 champions only loss was to cameron Yoe this year by 20 points. They like to spread you out on offense and sling it all over the field. Defensively they give up a ton of yards and lots of points.

They were tied with Lago Vista late in the 3rd today and the Vikings fell a sleep on defense. The slot T that lago runs gave them fits on the ground.

My only concern would be our pass defense. This team averages 375 yards passing a game. Spread teams want you to blitz hard then cut you to pieces on short passes. The Wildcat running game is hard to stop but they have to make some kind of adjustment to stop the pass on D. Pressure alone is not going to cut it.

Having seen Whitney twice this year and kville once, I'm taking the Wildcats in this one. The Whitney Wildcats 44, kville mildcats 27.

Without the Whitney connection we wouldn't expect you to pick kirbyville. How'd the guarantee EC would win work out for you? Lol

Last year newton kept the pressure on them all night, they dident like that to much, if it is the same QB as last year (coaches son) he is very tall and can make plays if he has the time, going with my neighbors by 1 score

Since all you knuckleheads are pulling for kville and in 10 years my grandson may be their starting cornerback or wide receiver, who do you think I'd pull for? Seriously, they have a good qb, outstanding wide receiver and good little rb. Kville won't shut down their offense but they do give up a little on defense. The Yoe game early in the season was the only loss but they had a couple of quality wins against Glen Rose and Grandview. This coach took a perennial doormat and made a contender out of them. His son is the qb. They beat Lago Vista today 42 - 14. For all the kville pundits in this thread, I would call that a blowout.

what does blowing out Lago Vista yesterday have anything to do with Kirbyville or next Friday??   Nothing!

Kirbyville has a good QB, a couple of outstanding rec's , a COUPLE of good little RB's,,,, They wont shut Kirbyville down either but we don't give up a little on defense!   Bring em on!!

To the bandana dude pulling for Whitney who pointed out their 28pt 'blowout' win over a 4th place team......well fyi, Kirbyville won too.....by 30pts.....over a 3rd place team. I could be wrong, but some people might say that's more impressive. Kirbyville by 2 td's. Congrats to Whitney on their 10-2 final record though. ;-)
