PhatMack19 Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 He deserves his own thread He rushed for 408 yards and set a new NCAA record in 3 quarters! Wow Quote

Bulldog92 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 I'm an embarrassed Husker fan this morning. Gordon deserves his props, but that was a huge game for Nebraska and they didn't look interested. I've tried to support Pelini, but I think it's time for them to make a change. He's a defensive coordinator, not caliber of head coach that should be walking the sidelines at Nebraska. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Bulldog92, just who do you think should be there? Quote
king Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Bulldog92, just who do you think should be there? Kirby Smart. Quote
king Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Negative. You know nebraska AD was at Miami when he hired Golden right? Would not be surprised if he hired another chump. Quote
Bulldog92 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 I know Bielema has struggled at Arkansas, but he had it rolling at Wisconsin before he left. He would bring that same physical style to Nebraska and that's what I'd like to see. Scott Frost (former QB and OC at Oregon) is out there, too, but I want the downhill running game and defense similar to what Michigan State and Wisconsin do. Quote

You my friend want what I want but we aren't going to get it. Do I want Pelini gone, NO. Wouldn't mind Bielema being our OC though. And Frost is not what we need!! Quote
Bulldog92 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 I like Bo, too, but I think he's gonna have to hire new coordinators to keep my support. Guys that know exactly what they want to do that can give the Huskers an identity on both sides of the ball, which is something they lack right now. You never know from one week to the next what to expect. Quote
RaiderRed30 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 And there goes Melvin Gordon's record. It lasted all of just one week. Quote
SKINS Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Gordon's record was much better. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 @SportsCenter: HISTORY! Samaje Perine breaks Melvin Gordon's one week old NCAA record with 427 Rush yds. He's just a freshman! http://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/536268927085846528/photo/1 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Gordon's record was much better. I agree, he did it in only 3 quarters. Quote
SKINS Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 I agree, he did it in only 3 quarters. Averaged a whole 4 yards per carry more, against a much better team. Quote
RaiderRed30 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Usually I am against Oklahoma but looking at this game, Kansas knew the run was coming the whole game. It is pouring down at Oklahoma and the game is on grass. That I think makes it a special accomplishment. Quote
