Yep...Teague is no pushover. They can put up points quick. EC would have their hands full.

Teague has #1 and #15 (QB)...you shut them down and they stall...Teague defense is not a number one in state defense and Kountze exposed several weaknesses by put 42 on them...Kountze is out but hope we shed some light on their game.

I would love to see a Buna-Kirbyville rematch with winner getting a rematch with EC.  There is still alot of good teams out there including Teague.

Cameron Yoe I think has a good shot to beat Teague.I would like to see a Buna Kville rematch. Buna has been solid all year.

I don't see EC playing Teague, but I do see them playing Yoe. I think Yoe will beat Teague and I hope we beat LRA. I hear Yoe has a very good defense and a lot of speed. I don't think Teague has played against a real good defense yet. I would really rather not play the defending state champ though.

Yoe has a great Coaching staff also. They can make serious adjustments. I will go as far to say outstanding.

If they can get some balance from their passing attack with the ground attack I saw at SA Friday night (34car. 230 yds. 6td) they will be able to beat Teague (or Yoe) if they get that far. No question about Teague's potency on offense, but their defensive performance(against Kountze anyway) left a lot to be desired(at least in my opinion). Haven't seen anything on Yoe so I can't give an opinion either way, just know they have been a mainstay in the playoffs here the last couple of years. Best defense maybe to run a three yards and a cloud of dust grind it out style of offense to keep theirs on the sidelines. Last time I looked an offense, no matter how lethal, couldn't score if if wasn't on the field. Collins and Silcox will need to come up big for EC...
