TxHoops Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Wins vs Bowl eligible teams Texas: 1 (West Virginia) Ags: 5 (USCe, Rice, Lamar, Arkansas, & Auburn) Discuss? Texas > Aggy. Any other questions? On second thought, you're right. What a glorious season. Give coach swag another raise and extension!!! 😂 Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Bearclaw Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 To be clear, Bama beat wvu by 10. Bama beat aggy by 59. UT beat wvu by 17. Therefore UT would beat aggy by 2/3rds of a hundred (team first - that means 66). Also Aggies beat number 3 seed auburn, and Auburn is the defending SEC Champion. So put that in your bowl of wheaties. Quote

Bearclaw Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Texas > Aggy. Any other questions? On second thought, you're right. What a glorious season. Give coach swag another raise and extension!!! Absolutely. The best coach in the STATE Quote
TxHoops Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Absolutely. The best coach in the STATE If by best, you mean top 10 in the state, then absolutely! Quote
OldTimer Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Also Aggies beat number 3 seed auburn, and Auburn is the defending SEC Champion. So put that in your bowl of wheaties. Let's do the Texas fans math: Strong - $833,333 per win for his 6 wins so far Sumlin - $714,285 per win for his 7 wins so far - looks to me like the Texas coach may well be the one who is over paid ;) And whether you like it or not every ranking service that I looked at had A&M's schedule ranked tougher (by a lot) even with Lamar and Rice over what Texas has had on its schedule: Just one NCAA - A&M #5 Texas #26 Quote

At least we are not the 1960's Ferrari that is in the shop for repairs and still waiting for the bill to see how long it will take to get out of the shop - but at the same time do not mind telling everyone else how good and fast the old Ferrari was in the "Old Days" :P LocknLoad 1 Quote
OldTimer Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Lamar lol Ok - take Lamar out and A&M is still ahead - 4 to 1. Quote

TxHoops Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Or put another way, the Longhorns have a national championship in both of my children's lifetime. The Aggies do not have a NC in my 73 yo father'a lifetime... Quote

OldTimer Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 2005 says hello. Actually from 2001 - 2009 Texas was on the top of its game (101-15 not bad) - so it has only been the last 5 years that Texas has struggled - give me what I can take dude :D TxHoops 1 Quote

bullets13 Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Oh no, I was watching TCU blasting tu 20-3. I'm watching the ags get blasted by a mediocre lsu team. They're down 17-7, but it feels like it should be 27-7 Quote
TxHoops Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 I say again only 2 big 12 titles 😂😂😂😂😂😂 We aren't in the same conference and LSU competes with Blinn JC academically. So why does The University of Texas occupy so much space in your dome? Quote
