bballfan342 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Chalk up another L for the Horns...there's always the NIT Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Texas is now one of the last 4 teams in. After they lose to KU they will be NIT bound. Quote
TxHoops Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Settling in for the end of an era (hopefully). Bill Self has more conference titles than home losses?? Wow! Barnes is 7-35 vs ranked Big 12 teams on the road. Quote
TxHoops Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Isaiah Taylor straight up balling right now. Looks like the best player on the floor. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 I hate KU, cmon Horns! Quote
TxHoops Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Game has been an absolute block party for Horns. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 @TexasMBB: #UT has set a school single-game record for most blocked shots today. Now at 14 with 3:13 to play. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 Horrible no call. Awful Horns got the shaft on that call. Quote
TxHoops Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 Season in a nutshell. Can play with anybody but can't close. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 @ESPNStatsInfo: Baylor is at Texas (7 PM, ESPNU); might be must-win for Longhorns (2-12 vs. BPI Top 50 opponents) BPI gives Texas 54% chance to win Might?? lol Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 They have a team that could pull it off. They don't really have many "bad" losses, but they sure could use a "big" win. On a positive, UT will have to play the first day of the big 12 tourney, which will give them a chance to increase their win total on the year, which might help a little to get in the big dance. But all of that's irrelevant if they lose tonight... Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 What's frustrating is how many close games texas has lost to good teams. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Erwin Center looks empty. Yikes. Guess everyone stuck in traffic. Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 The announcers are falling all over themselves about how great Baylor is at "shoving you out of the way" to get offensive rebounds. Maybe I'm a homer, but all I'm seeing is a bunch of fouls the refs aren't calling. Isn't "shoving someone" a foul? Quote

I think UT needs to be more physical, Baylor does that in every game, usually the refs swallow the whistle at least the times ive watched them play. Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 All 12 of texas' losses against the rpi top-50. One solid win might be enough to get them in the dance. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 If your big men have established position in the paint you give them the damn ball, UT guards playing blind. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 @TexasMBB: HUGE block from Prince Ibeh! Texas ball and timeout with 28.8 seconds left. Shot clock is off. Tied 54-54. #HookEm Quote
baddog Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 OT, bad shot by Holmes. That's the kind of stupid shot that is coached by Barnes. This is where most games are won and Barnes can't coach them to a win. Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Still, did the longhorn that was getting the rebound not get mauled? Quote
baddog Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Still, did the longhorn that was getting the rebound not get mauled? To me, that's beside the point. You have to take a higher percentage shot than a three. Yes, he got fouled. Quote
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 3 tvs in this house and every one of them recording something, so now I'm relegated to watching stat tracker :) Quote
