TxHoops
Think Buzz Williams would be a great hire for Texas. I agree wholeheartedly. I really would like Shaka Smart but would be happy with Buzz as well.
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Buzz knows the state, had a few Tx HS hoopers attend Marquette while he was there. Didn't he coach at Navarro or Kilgore JUCO before that also?
TxHoops
Went to Navarro. Was an assistant at UTA, A&M Kingsville and A&M. Mr. Buddy Garrity
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Horns vs Tech on EspnU. Horns win they're in, if not its NIT.
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Horns playing well so far, they lead Tech at the half.
bullets13
They just had an offensive possession where they drew 4 fouls, the 4th leading to an and-1. That'll go a long way to helping put this one away. They're up 8 with under 16 to play and a FT to go.
bballfan342
Buzz isn't going anywhere anytime soon and Shaka will never go anywhere where football is first . Would take a duke , unc, kentucky for him to leave Vcu. Brad underwood would be a great hire for texas
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Hope UT gets outta here without any major ankle injuries, smh.

And Texas has a basketball AD now.
Mr. Buddy Garrity
@LonghornNetwork: The must-win is a win. Ridley, Taylor stellar as Texas cruises past Texas Tech 65-53. Horns face Iowa State in quarters Thursday night.
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Horns will be dancing. Congratulations!
bullets13
Big win. 20 wins while playing in a power conference, combined with no "bad" losses oughta be enough to overcome the lack of quality wins
badndn
Greg Marshall has done great building the Shockers program. Would be a great hire as far as I am concerned, but with that said Texas has the talent to make an elite 8 run and I wouldn't be surprised if Barnes is back. bullets13
Big game for the horns. Win and they're for sure in. Lose and it's back to the bubble. Lose badly and it might be on to the NIT

bullets13
They went cold for a couple of minutes or they'd be up 20. Hopefully they can keep this lead or extend it a bit. Not many leads safe against Iowa st
TxHoops
Cyclones cut lead to 32-21. For the love of Bob Weltlich, can we please finish one game where we are an underdog?

bullets13
A hiccup at the end of the half by the horns, but you gotta be happy to be up 11 at the half. Mr. Buddy Garrity
