BearBryant Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Kirbyville Wildcats vs Rockdale Friday 7:30 @ Woodforest Bank Stadium, The Woodlands Quote
WildcatBacker Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 I'm going to do all I can to be there. This should be a great game. Rockdale is apparently a very good team to take control of Buna like they did. Quote

OLDGREGG Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Go Kirbyville! I'll be attending this one. Take it to em cats Quote
Guest Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Yes Rockdale is good beat Yoe by 7 and lost to LRA. In my best Dennis Green voice " if you wanna crown their @ss then crown them" Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Another shootout!lol, interesting Quote
wildcat/nation09 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 To my understanding rockdale had 7 injured player's against LRA. Buna fans said receivers are big and physical. 6 "4. 205 big!! But david did defeat golieth. GO Cats!!!! Quote
bulldogs1990 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Will be pulling for Kirbyville but rockdale will be to much for the cats SteelerCzy 1 Quote
Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Too much for a team that just hung 76 on a one-seed? I hunt between Caldwell and Rockdale and listen to the Rockdale and Yoe games several times this year, from what I've heard on the radio, this is gonna be a snot flying match. Quote
jwbassman Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Rockdale is legit. Buna got beat in every facet of the game. Rockdale's line dominated on both sides of the ball. Those big receivers are a tough match up for anyone. This game could have been worse. We got 2 garbage time scores on 2nd & 3rd string. Kirbyville needs to bring as much pressure as possible on the QB he set in the pocket on us and shredded our defense. I'm pulling for Kirbyville, hope you guys can get it done. CJ04 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Gonna be a tough win for kville but it can be done. Good luck kville! Quote
BunaBoy84 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 If Kirbyville can't stop the pass, it'll be a long night. The "Black Swarm" better show up. Quote
bulldog16 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Hopefully it will be a good Black "Swarm" Friday Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
kcat-fan Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Well the kats done well outscoring a air raid offense with a not so good defense. Rockdale is a whole nother animal. How is their run game? And can the Black Swarm play without any dumb penalties? Quote
jwbassman Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Rockdale sets up the run with the pass. They run a lot more up tempo than even Kirbyville does. #23 is a really good back, shifty and hard to bring down. Those big receivers ( especially # 18 ) on those slant routes lit us up. We just couldn't match up. Our guys going both ways just wore down. We played 4-2-5 most of the night and just couldn't keep up. Kirbyville needs to blitz all night IMO to try and disrupt the QB and receivers to have a shot. Good luck Kats Quote
kcat-fan Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I'm sure Neece will prepare the KATS. ...I think this will be the best team we've faced hands down. Any word on Tyler? Quote
Guest Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Kcatfan the defense did not have many "dumb penalties " last night so don't really know what your talking about CatManDu 1 Quote
WildcatBacker Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Tyler is out for the year I believe. He has a broken fibula. I hate it for him and I hope he gets better soon. It's gonna hurt us though as a team no doubt, but our running game is still very strong and our defense is one of the best in the state so, if we do what we're capable of doing then we can take this game. No mistakes though.. Quote
Kville1968 Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I'm sure Neece will prepare the KATS. ...I think this will be the best team we've faced hands down. Any word on Tyler? X-rays in the ER last night showed a clean break of his fibula. He went to Beaumont B&J today and is going to be fine. He was in a lot of pain last night but he hung tough. Six weeks and he will be good as new. Quote
kcat-fan Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I thought they had some on critical 3rd down plays to give up the 1st. I wasn't there, so I could be wrong. Quote
kcat-fan Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Heard bout Tyler's injury. Hate to here it. Guess he'll be out a while. Quote
OleMoe Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 A tough one for the Kats. Wish them well. Quote
