eagleswoodville#1 Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 The third overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Robert Griffin III has been benched in favor of back-up Colt McCoy. McCoy, a Texas native and former QB for the University of Texas, has started in and won two ganes this year. The only Redskins QB to do so at all this year. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 RG3 is done in Washington imo. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Another Heisman bust. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Report Posted November 26, 2014 I agree with both of those statements. I just hope to God the Texans don't attempt to sign him. Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Two words- Dallas Cowboys Jerra likes attention. Jerrah would try to trade for Manziel before trying to get RG3. RG3 imo will not be playing for a NFC East squad. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 RGIII has officially changed his nickname to- RGIII and VIII. baddog 1 Quote
JWB Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 I think he would be alright behind a good O-Line. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted November 28, 2014 Author Report Posted November 28, 2014 His mechanics have been off since he got injured the first time. It'll take alot more than a good offensive line to fix that. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Colt McCoy is so much better. Reminds me a lot of Drew Brees, but a little bigger. Always thought he had a chance to be very good in this league given the right opportunity. Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 He is so good the redskins have 19 total yards, that's with a 21 yard run by Morris. He also has two fumbles. Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 And threw a pick that was thankfully brought back for defensive holding. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 And the guy who intercepted was called for holding. Funny how that works. Making great throws on this possession. Don't worry, Snyder will get rid of him. One thing you can count on is Danny Boy making the wrong personnel decisions :) Quote
TxHoops Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Annnnnd, even after a hold, he converts for a TD on a 1st and 21. Yeah, he's just awful ;) Quote
TxHoops Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 But I will concede he probably wouldn't be nearly as good at making Subway commercials... Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 The funny thing is, Griffin had a throw just like that Helu TD a few weeks ago, only difference is Helu fumbled. Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Right there! That play is the staple of the offense and Griffin has only run it once this year. That's the play calling sabotage I was talking about. Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Nice to see the Skins getting some love from the refs. Quote
SKINS Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 McCoy has fumbled 4 times today. If he had played last week he would have fumbled 6 times. Quote
TxHoops Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 31 of 47 for 392, 3 TDs, no picks. If only he could play defense too... Quote
SKINS Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 McCoy benched after one drive, couldn't throw the ball more than five yards, they are saying his neck is acting up. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 McCoy benched after one drive, couldn't throw the ball more than five yards, they are saying his neck is acting up. Was his dad on the sideline? Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
