It is on. Westend1 and I went with his son yesterday and caught about 30 keepers in 2.5 hours. The 6 we kept averaged nearly 19 inches.

We also lost a couple at or over 20 that would've bumped that average up.

Tis the season. A friend of a friend caught a 7 pounder yesterday at DD

Tried night fishing and it was bust, Went out this afternoon and we caught or four person limit.t wasn't fast and furious but it was fun and productive.

20" was the biggest but most were 15 - 18. Several throw backs.

It has slowed down some, but westend1 and I still limited pretty easily Sunday. Kept two around 17, and two around 19. I got there a few minutes after he did, and he swears he had one to the bank that weighed at least 6 lbs

It was slow my last trip also. Too crowded too. I hope to get in another trip or two be fore it slows down too much.

Has anyone been having any luck this year so far,I usually go around Bailey's road in bc but haven't caught much,been hearing about Sabine pass and wanna go,any info would help

I caught three last week but wasn't targeting them. They are out there, just not in the run pattern.

I caught a couple last week, and lost a large one at the boat.  I hear the high water  has them hiding in the marsh ponds still.

I've been catching a few but not like last year.I limited out last year a few times before November1,most in a day this year 3

I fished the Louisiana side of Sabine Lake last Friday up in the bayou and we caught 10 flounder in about 45 minutes but no size to them. The largest might have been 1.5 pounds. We lost a couple more of that size by the boat and another maybe 2 pounds. 

Plenty of fish but no size.

I went to Dick Dowling Park Saturday and fished a couple hours. When we first got there girlfriend caught one 13.75 inches. That was it.....A few along the walk caught a couple small ones as well. No one had any keepers.  I was about 7 hours in to a rising tide. We started fishing around 3:30PM and HT was supposed to be at 6:30PM. 

One guy claimed that morning their was keepers caught on the other side of boat ramp.....Who knows.....
