utguy09 Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 Man, these refs are just terrible, on both sides of the ball. Calling some of the most horable calls. I think its time to go find some new guys to wear the black and white strips!
PoppaBearstarr Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 WOW great game LCM I didn't see that one ending up that way...
KFDM COOP Posted January 27, 2007 Author Report Posted January 27, 2007 LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears were at the top of their game Friday night at The Bear Cave as they toppled the second-place Dayton Broncos 75-58 in District 22-4A action. The Bears (14-13, 4-5) dominated the Broncos (16-7, 7-2) in the second half by going on a 42-24 tear after Dayton held a 34-33 cushion at the half.Bear post Kevin Cooper roughed up the Broncos inside, notching a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. The Bears also received two more double-double performances with Drew Bean and Justin Kinsley each tallying 11 points and snaring 10 boards apiece. JS Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 Dayton had one player out on ISS-one on grades-and one left w a concussion at halftime---that being said LCM flat outplayed Dayton in a physical game--hats off to them
BMTSoulja1 Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 This isn't as big of an upset as yall think. Dayton was down when they played Vidor. They was also down when they played Central. The thing is that LC-M was able to turn it on when it counted. Much props to the Bears.
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 Thanks. The boys played their hearts out. GO BOJO!!
rapayne Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 I saw the first two match-ups this season between these two and clearly Dayton was undermanned.
Htexans90 Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 it must be those bear cave krazies bringin the noise....jkthe bears played real well, the refs were horrible, but it was bad both ways, all in all it was fair and the bears just outplayed dayton, dayton hung in there it was just the scoring run at the end
Matt Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 I guess dayton wasn't "HOT" that night, I'm using the H.J. excuse ;D

Much props to the Bears.Don't get me wrong I saw the match up at the BBH tourney and was impressed with LCM they are stronger than I realized. Deffinately much props to LCM, i just didn't see there being that big of a differance on the score, I was thinking 8 points plus or minus for either team.
