Mizzou did it with smoke and mirrors. Lost to Georgia (who should have won the East) 34-0. They escaped everyone else but certainly benefited by not having to play Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, or Miss St.

I thought a team from another conference couldn't survive the sec. Missouri has proven that false. Oh yeah, now it's the west. When do we narrow it down to one or two teams? Oops, already have.

Not sure they would go no matter what. Will a 2 loss SEC team finish ahead of Baylor, TCU, Ohio St, who are all waiting for someone to lose. Certainly, a 2 loss West champ would have to beat Mizzou to get to the playoff. I would think SEC could be left out of playoff if both Bama and Miss St lose.
