PhatMack19
Missouri couldn't do anything in the Big XII and they're a power house in the SEC. Except for the fact that they won the Big 12 North in 2007, 2008, and 2010 they didn't do much.....
PhatMack19
I will agree that the East is pretty bad quote: @JonSolomonCBS: Missouri has 2 straight SEC East titles while beating 1 SEC team with a winning conference record (Georgia 2013). PhatMack19
Air Force beat Colorado St 27-24. That cost Colorado State a chance at a big bowl game.
Eazy
Mizzou wins the SEC East again. Another huge win for the Big 12!Mizzou did it with smoke and mirrors. Lost to Georgia (who should have won the East) 34-0. They escaped everyone else but certainly benefited by not having to play Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, or Miss St.
baddog
They will have to play one of them now. I thought a team from another conference couldn't survive the sec. Missouri has proven that false. Oh yeah, now it's the west. When do we narrow it down to one or two teams? Oops, already have.
Peppermint Patty
What happens if Bama and Miss St both lose tomorrow? Who goes from the West? If Mizzou wins the SEC Championship game, do they make the playoff?

Peppermint Patty
Bama would go because they beat Miss St. Mizzou would never make the playoff. So could the West champ just forfeit the game since they are going to the playoff no matter what? baddog and Mr. Buddy Garrity
king
So if Bama and Miss state win... Both in top 4... If Bama lose in the SEC title game... Mississippi State still in top 4?? A team that didn't play in their own title game. so it doesn't matter if Bama wins or loses in title game. A 1 loss Mississippi State will get in no matter what.. Man, I'm confused. Eazy
Not sure they would go no matter what. Will a 2 loss SEC team finish ahead of Baylor, TCU, Ohio St, who are all waiting for someone to lose. Certainly, a 2 loss West champ would have to beat Mizzou to get to the playoff. I would think SEC could be left out of playoff if both Bama and Miss St lose. Mr. Buddy Garrity

Eazy
Don't forget that we have had teams play in the national championship that didn't play in (or lost) their conference championship game.
