Since everyone is mentioning the truck and briles connection to stephenville didn't Stidham already live with the guy and work at Barefoot when he was a tech commit? Yes things seem shady but the fact is there are a lot of connections. It was after kliff didn't guarantee him the starting spot or even a non redshirt that he decommitted. Does anyone know how long he has been driving the truck or if maybe it was a graduation gift.

Also would things be the same if it was a Baylor commit from New Braunfels that switched to Tech?

I'm neutral in this and I do think there are some shady things. My mother is from new braunfels and knew the kingsburys and went to baylor. Then I went to school near Stephenville and grew up hating them but I do know with either of those coaches Stidham could be great.

Will NCAA investigate probably especially because luck is now there but until any actual improprieties are proven then congrats to Stidham and Baylor and hopefully Kliff can find another.

Kliff will be fine for a couple of years if he can continue to convince Mahomes that it's better to play QB at tech than to play pro baseball.
