Savage looked better in relief than John Boy did as a starter. Texans made the right choice.

I think if they could do it over again, Houston would have taken Bortles. I think he will be a solid QB if he can get out of Jacksonville.

He showed zero signs of being ready. Zero prep. Cincy didn't even disguise defense. He made no changes to protection. I'm sure a team that was in playoff contention enjoys starting week 15 with rookie adjustment time. Not sure how much better he will get when he plays a good defense. 3 first downs...nice

This is my biggest issue with him. Not sure he will put in the hours to prepare himself mentally and in the film room. You can't win at this level on athleticism, especially when you're no longer close to the best athlete on the field. The great QBs win between their ears as much or more as with their arms and legs. Whether Manziel has that kind of drive we shall see.
