MMstangfan Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Not so sure we would have been here with Cole or Rutledge, Jack is a winner , he has prepared since flag football to be a WOS QB. I have to give a ton of props to the O-Line. They gave Jack great protection last night. he will pick you apart with that kind of time and the reciever corp we have. Quote
SWAT34 Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Probably the same. In the State semi finals. Getting ready to play Sinton. Cant get much better than that?! Quote
td Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Amen. That O-Line has been a beast all season and even more so the last few weeks. Big props for them protecting the QB and busting open holes for the backs to break through. griff and Gasilla 2 Quote

So you saying Cole & Rutledge are not Winners. ...Huh Really These young men have been preparing since flag also....maybe I'm missing something MMstangfan Quote

I understand what you trying to say...I think all three are winners and all three have been playing since flag Quote
MMstangfan Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Totally my opinion , Cole is super athlete , but had some growing up to do. Rutledge was a loose cannon. I just think Jack came in , listened to the staff and fit right in with a super group. But then I do have to remember we are talking about 16 17 year old kids. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Can't believe Fox said what he did! I can believe it, says alot of things that are quite delusional. Quote

Morris_era Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Obviously you have no clue... Quote
SWAT34 Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Sounds like we should be thanking whoever has been running the flag football leagues. Getting good coaching at a young age helps the high school programs. Look at BCLL and Bridge City's baseball team. Three excellent QBs from this small area, UT cant get it right with the whole state choose from. Morris_era 1 Quote
Morris_era Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Bottom line is all 3 QB's were winners. No matter which one we still in the same situation. Right now Jack is our QB and he's doing a dang good job! HFfan5 and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote

kicker Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 How about we just let this thread go and focus on the now. I may be mistaken but I think WOS is about to play for the chance at making the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP game. The past is in the past an whatever happened led up to the point of us having an awesome QB and an awesome team at that. This is our year....grab your popcorn! robanadana Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 Very, very impressed with this young man! Good luck on your way to that state championship. Quote
td Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 Thanks for all of the kind words but he is but one of about 30 that it takes to get the job done. That doesn't even include the coaches. He can't do a thing without those beast that protect him. And without the incredible skill guys we have that go get it when he puts it in the air he is nothing. Along with that goes the defense that keeps the other team off of the scoreboard and the coaches that have put him in a great position to be successful. Now let's focus on Sinton and go get them. Then we can talk about the next one. Thanks for the fan support. It has meant a lot to the players to hear how loud we have been the last few weeks. Let's Go Meet Em. skipper, Gasilla, One4All and 4 others 7 Quote
chukslegacy Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 There is no I in TEAM! WOS is on a mission! Being led by an outstanding QB with so many potential threats. I can honestly say that I have been very impressed with the transformation of this team and how focused they have been this season. It really shows a lot about the kids characters at WOS VNUPE 1 Quote

marshman Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Oh I have one! Wonder how many deer I've let slip by the last few years cause I was looking at my phone! Quote
Curly Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 I don't know the young man, but it know his dad is a great guy, and I know it is a great family. Good to see good things happen to good people. Hope the Stangs win the whole thing for a number of people in Mustang land. the-riot07 and skipper 2 Quote
skipper Posted December 9, 2014 Author Report Posted December 9, 2014 the young dallas kid is a leader i look back to the qb gilmer had last year he is a lot like him VERY SMART HEAD ON HIS SHOULDERS he has the speed to run if he has to and reads the defense and on top of all this for being so young he can put the ball in the air over 60 yards with ease just hope he reads the DBs from sinton Quote
dayton Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 SOMETIMES... the obvious choice is not the best choice. Sounds like Dallas and DSC both landed in the best possible situations. Good for them and their schools! I only know td as a poster, but it seems jack's got awefully good roots. Keep rollin' WOS. skipper 1 Quote
