Bobcatfan4life
Last time Sinton played a team from our area it was in this round back in 2001 against Bridge City. They ended up playing at Kyle Field. Could end up being the same type thing, go play somewhere way out of the way because they can't agree on a halfway point site. Halfway would be south / southwest houston. Stadiums in that area that would even come close to holding a game like this would be: Ken Hall Stadium - Missouri City http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=520 Traylor Stadium - Rosenberg http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=514 The Rig - Pearland http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=632 If you want could even maybe go far south Houston on the Gulf: Wildcat Stadium - Angleton http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=1280 Hopper Field - Freeport http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=
kicker
Probably Houston area would be my guess. Smart for both teams.
tennisbc
If this continues until Monday, I see superintendents and admin have to step in and decide this.
kicker
Might not have anything to do with coaches. What if it's the venue they are waiting to hear back from? 😉
ladybug33
Distance between Orange Texas and Sinton Texas is 300 miles. Angleton Texas is 152 miles from Orange. 300-152=148 for Sinton fans to travel. Angleton’s stadium was built in 2009 open in 2010, so maybe this could solve the distance thing. Who would be petty over two (2) miles. The name of the stadium is Wild Cat Stadium. Just trying to find a median. That would also bypass construction maybe, I haven’t been to Angleton lately. kicker
Oh heck no. I don't think CT has been good with coin flips over the years. Lol. One of the best coaches in the state of Texas but I ain't going to a casino with him. Have you noticed how many times we have been visitors???!! Lol

ladybug33
Hey if we are going to give up the 2 miles, maybe they will agree to let us be Home. I agree CT is not a good gambling partner :D

Mr. Buddy Garrity
Sinton probably wants to play in the Gulf, might give em an advantage by using natural resources to slow down the overall speed of WOS. ;)
leopardfan201
The gulf not going to help sinton much WOS is too fast
tennisbc
Just wondering, are we all just guessing about time and place or has anyone contacted either Coach and asked directly what the hold up is? I agree with badndn, this IS taking too long. It is the Coach's or the venue itself? I cannot believe that the venues are taking this long to get back with either coach. badndn
U of H stadium is brand new and stellar, this would be an excellent venue. Agreed. Excellent new stadium.
tennisbc
Westfield and Spring play there tonight in the 6A Regional Finals. Both are from the same district. I am pulling for Westfield due to their starting quarterback, a former WOS starting quarterback. hint hint

MrUmp1
I have heard one of the hold ups is getting a response from the stadiums that are on the list. So chill out it is not games being played by schools. Until contracts are signed nuttin is final for release.
