Sorry to chime in so late, but. If you have half a brain you realize that the best athletes don't always win in basketball. I have seen both teams and co will win by as many as their Parent pleasing coach wants. My bet is he will take his foot off the gas early. Port neches is more athletic, but they can't beat co Wilson. Diego got to be on that purple koolaide to be posting garbage like that

Outcome will be as bad as coach smith let's it get,, and from talking to the boys,, coach might not take his foot off the throttle this time,, i know last year Co was up by almost 40 when they stopped pressing so pn could get the ball across half court...still won by 25 I think,, that was Co's closest game though...

PN More athletic???thats a garbage statement.The most athletic & best athletes can play any sport & be good at it.The starting 5 at C.O. are among the BEST athletes in this area in baseball,football,basketball & track not to mention a handful more that are just as athletic as any school in the area.this group has proven it for years in every sport,always in the mix for a championship in every sport & that's fact not opionion.

Yea they got us two years in a row in football,, but never been close in baseball or basketball,,, another thing just wait till nuemann and company get em,, pn has always beat ned in football in stjfl and jr high but just haven't gotten it done where it really counts,, and that's on Friday nights...

We never could get them all to play or on the same team like some organizations seem to be able to do in jr. League football.but I will take C.O. A team basketball players & win at any sport vs any other of the so called more athletic teams we play in district. Basketball,baseball,football & even soccer.

Yall seem to get a lil too emotional speaking on youth sports. But a win or loss in middle school does not translate to high school. Aau in this area is where you will see the most competition. Middle schools cater to a lot of parents and the coaches arent always up to par.

Aau is good because you get cream of the crop. Not real hard to win with an allstar team. I have seen many aau coaches that are not up to par either.

If you knew kf89,, you wouldn't think like that,, he is 100% about the kids,, would stay at any field or gym till 2 am 7 days a week if parents allowed him and the kids wanted to...so to say anything negative is just plain ignorant..he gives hours of his time every week to help these young boys at any sport they want to get better at...that's goes for any kid not just the ones he coaches..

proud dog I base my statements on facts not opinions.i have coached for a long time & this 8th grade group has always dominated png in baseball &  basketball.Its a fact that C.O. is just as athletic if not more than png. There starting 5 are some of the best 3 sport athletes that play on the best select baseball,basketball & football teams in this area.If ur at the  game tomorrow u will see this with or without glasses & im Mike Hiltz I will be there at 5 to support the 7th grade teams so come introduce yourself & we can discuss what being a REAL ATHLETE IS SOME MORE.
