Baba Ganoush Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 TCU would beat any team today Quote

Baba Ganoush Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 It's like when the other team lets the "special team manager" come in and score a point. Everyone cheers. Good for Ole Miss Quote

Baba Ganoush Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Wow. Did they just say 10 returning starters on offense next year ?! Look out Quote
SKINS Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 So TCU has to be ranked at least 3rd in The final rankings right? Barring a similar performance from Baylor. Quote
baddog Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Man, I just found another satisfying thing in sports. A Big XII team kicking the snot out of an sec team that held the #1 ranking this year. And by a team that everyone said was a dud joining the Big XII. Where is the chanter anyway? baddog Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Big 12 Champ > 5th place SEC Really! This Big XII champ deserves to be in the playoff. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Does this mean that TCU would have won the SEC too? Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Really! This Big XII champ deserves to be in the playoff. I agree. They got left out because they have no fan base and Ohio State brings a lot more money to the table for the bowls and advertisers. Baylor would have went ahead of them anyways, even thoigh most think TCU is better. Quote
baddog Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 I truly hate to see ANY team get screwed because of a flawed system. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 I truly hate to see ANY team get screwed because of a flawed system. 8 teams would have been perfect this year. The 9th team had 3 losses and showed today they didn't belong. OldTimer and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
TxHoops Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 I said that when it happened. I also said it was all about the money. TCU is the most complete team in the country. This you and I agree on. I don't know, of course, if they would beat Alabama or Oregon but they are the best if you combine all phases of the game. I also agree that baylor would have gotten in ahead of them anyway due to head to head (which is hard to argue against). And I also agree on why they didn't get in. If Texas or Oklahoma had same resume', Ohio state would be home watching tomorrow. Amphibious Rodent and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
SKINS Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 ESPN does not have an article on the game on its front page. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 ESPN does not have an article on the game on its front page. Not surprising, if TCU had lost it would have been. Quote
