MrUmp1
Does that get them any points on the scoreboard? Didn't think so. Support is measured in many different ways. skipper, griff, Mr. Buddy Garrity and 2 others
jake94
So Sinton has big athletic supporters? 😜
ladybug33
Having community support is good, but nothing beats having people show up at the games, and supporting their team. Go Mustangs! Mr. Buddy Garrity
eagleswoodville#1
Orange, Texas population: 18,922 Sinton, Texas population: 5,723 Full community support is much more difficult in a town with 18,922 people, as opposed to a town with 5,723 people. You're talking about a town (Orange) who is more than three times the size of Sinton. I assure you....the West Orange-Stark Mustangs get plenty of support. Not only from the city or Orange but the entire SETX region. Mr. Buddy Garrity and BADSANTA

bone
It's good for them to have the communitys support. But I'll be lending my support to WOS. Stay focused. Play ball and everything will fall into place.
HurricaneCal
I was stationed in Ingleside back 97 and Refereed some basketball games in Sinton. Took some abuse as all officials do from the 10 people in the crowd. Go WOS!!!! mytwocents-28
SintonFanInAustin
wow 10 people, must of been a good night that night. Basketball might be lesser sport followed in Sinton but Sinton was state champions in 1995 in basketball. Sinton is considered a baseball town, have produce pitching talent through the years since their first baseball state title in 1988. Sinton does support their youth and school programs with a decent fan base. Yea means nothing in a game but the kids playing sure like the support they receive. dayton
the-riot07
Support means a LOT! Don't let anyone say otherwise! But yes there is many ways to show support! But in a town like orange, there are so many different schools it is hard to get businesses to post things of support. West orange only has about 2,500 people and very few businesses! But we show up on game night!!!
HurricaneCal
Yep, did a stint as the Command Chief in Orange off of Pier Road. Not much on that side of town.

badndn
I'd be willing to bet WOS has a much larger fan base. It's a SETX thing come playoff time. stangx2
Our first couple of state championship games the entire town was blue and silver, sorry, but it would be a crying shame and disrespectful to the kids if that is not the case should we be blessed enough to beat Sinton. maniacalum2036

griff
I'd be willing to bet WOS has a much larger fan base. It's a SETX thing come playoff time. Today WOS is pulling from a population of 250,000+ This statement coming from a PNG follower is one spoken by experience. You've seen it for the Indians in several past years (and decades). Every time a team from SETX gets to the 4th round or beyond, you see multiple school colors from SETX area teams represented. Unfortunately, it also means only one or two teams remain in the playoffs, so they can't be rooting for their home team. Mustang fans DO VERY MUCH APPRECIATE the show of support we saw vs. LaMarque and LaGrange from PNG, Nederland, HJ, LCM, Vidor, OF, PAM, Silsbee...fill in the blank. We hope more of you will come out tonight. Be careful driving in Houston traffic. The weather will be perfect for football! stangx2
stangx2
To other fans who support WOS. I could not say it any better than GRIFF did. Thank you and know if the situation was reversed we would be there for you also.
