Personally, I haven't seen Gilmer play so I won't comment on them except that they have an excellent record. Some posters seem to feel that Gilmer is unstoppable and will put up 40+ points on the Mustangs. I don't see that happening if the Mustangs play up to their full potential. As stated before, it is all about matchups. So, throw all of those records and points out the window and let's settle this Friday at noon. I'm sure both teams will be ready and both will bring it. Remember these words: "On Any Given Day, Anything Is Possible". The Stangs have talent, heart, determination and have proven to be a very resilient team.  So, Let's Get Ready To Rumble !!!

Looks like Gilmer enjoys running up the score.
I'd argue WOS played the tougher schedule. Two good playoff 5A teams, a possible state champion 3A, a three round 4A regional power and three other teams that where in the top ten rankings when they faced WOS (of course they dropped out the next week :)
Nobody, not even Gilmer would drop 80, 70, 60 or even 50 points on any of those opponents.

The Stangs have shown heart this season, Coach T has them focus on the end Goal of a State Championship! These kids ain't skeered! This will no doubt be a shoot out! Much respect to Gilmer but you better pack a lunch cause these kids from WOS ain't laying down! WOS by 7.

Its scary to play a team that has nothing to lose. Everyone will say we have no chance next week. They average 90 points a game, their o linemen run a 4.4 forty, yada yada. Well I sure hope they go into this game thinking it will be a cake walk. WOS is on a mission and will finish it.

Above average but was told not as good as Tyler from last night. Tyler's scramble ability is the difference.

I say bring on gilmer. After what witnessed last night I believe our team has the heart to win after being behind early. Bring on that two headed buckeye monster. We have a very special group that I believe can WIN no matter the odds against them. GO MUSTANGS. I will see y'all in Dallas baby!

Sintons QB is prolly better than one of Gilmers QBs. But Gilmers offense is not as vertical.... 5 yard passes turned into 55 yard TDs.

Interesting match up. Gilmer will be the first team that WOS has played with as much or more speed than WOS. I will be able to watch this one. I am going to sit with the WOS folks. Could go either way with an edge to Gilmer.

Yes, Newton beat us but in no way "toyed" with us. Newton will even tell you that. Wont find much more respect for each other between two teams than WOS/Newton.
