Would be a hell of a game. The '05 Horns, '04 & '05 Trojans were pretty good too. I think I would take the '01 Canes against anyone. If they woulda had an elite QB (and yes, I know Dorsey was a very good college QB), I would take them against anyone by A LOT.

I would put them #2. And I wouldn't bet a nickel on who would win that game. Both incredible teams for sure. And I would root for your Huskers because they had one of my all time favorite coaches (along with Bobby Bowden).

Dorsey was ok. Andre johnson, Shockey,Winslow jr, santana moss, Reggie wayne, and roscoe Parrish made him look great.

It's the defense that made that team great. Ask the heis man trophy winner Tim Couch. He was arguably one the best scrambLing qb off all time. Poor thing got destroyed 1st half in the title game. Would of won by 70 if they didn't put it on cruse control.

I just don't see Young, or Fraziers offense dominating that 01 defense.
