tvc184 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 @msnbc: .@tedcruz slams Obamacare in 2016 announcement, then announces he's signing up for it: http://on.msnbc.com/1CW6ZjM (Getty) http://twitter.com/msnbc/status/580756196916879360/photo/1  Maybe I read the article incorrectly but I thought it said that he was "required" to sign up for it due to a provision in the law. If that is true, rather than show a question on why he is doing it, it is yet another valid reason for him to be against it as it is forcing his hand. Quote
stevenash Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 It would also appear that he is one of a handful of politicians who complies with the law Quote
Big girl Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 I looked at politic check..... The things they claim are not true were minor.....http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2013/nov/15/ted-cruz/ted-cruz-says-gun-prosecutions-down-under-obama/ This for example has 4 different ways you can calculate.....He was quoting 1 of the 4 with numbers that support what he was talking about. a lie is a lie Quote

Big girl Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 Can I pass that information on to George Zimmerman and Darren Wilson? sure Quote
tvc184 Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 He was born in Canada and his father is from Cuba His mother was an American, she lived for more than 10 years in this country and at least 5 years after her 14th birthday. That was the law prior to November 1986. After that time, any person born anywhere that has at least one parent that is a US citizen, that person is born as an American. Cruz being born in 1970 qualifies as being an American at birth because his mother was born an American and lived the required number of years in the USA. Quote
Big girl Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 I fully endorse Ted Cruz in the Republican primaries Quote
Big girl Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 O'Reilly's character is hilarious, yelling over people he disagrees with, calling people pinheads, etc. I watch it for entertainment i agree, but I can only stomach watching it for 10 min. Quote
westend1 Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Cruz won't even be able to win a primary. Too crazy for even the gop. Quote
smitty Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Cruz won't even be able to win a primary. Too crazy for even the gop. Upholding the Constitution and controlling spending is crazy? This is what he thinks is important. It's sad for America when people think these are problems! Eagle11 and RETIREDFAN1 2 Quote
